Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at an Optronics 2-1/2 inch round grommet. This rubber grommet is designed for recess mounting 2-1/2 inch round trailer lights onto your trailer. The unit features the closed back which is going to seal and protect against road splash. It does offer road shock protection which extends the overall life of your trailer light. Wiring connections can be made through the access holes here in the side wall of the grommet. Have one located on each side.
This does require a 2-3/4 inch mounting hole to get the grommet installed.The overall depth is about 1-1/8 of an inch deep. I do have a 2-1/2 inch round trailer light. That way you can see what it looks like. When you're installing, go ahead and make your wire connection, feed your wires out the sides. Take the light and you simply just work your way around, pressing it in until it's all the way seated.
It creates a really nice finished look for the light and offers quite a bit of protection. That's what it would look like with your light installed. That's going to do it for today's look at the Optronics 2-1/2 inch rubber round grommet.

These fit my application perfectly.So, Crawler Conceptz sells a LED “kit” to fit their bumper, but, it costs a lot. This allowed me to fit these 2.5” LED’s inside the recess. Great product!
