This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.
Unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade, computer-generated tread on these Kenda Loadstar KR17 radials has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. The Kenda Loadstar KR17 tread also has sipes. Siping is a process in which thin grooves (or sipes) are cut into the rubber of the tire. The grooves channel water away from the tread so that the tire makes better contact with the road. Both of these features greatly improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions. The tread on this tire also has a 5-rib, variable pitch tread block design. Because the blocks of tread are wider at the edges and skinnier in the center, this design will reduce the overall road noise you experience while towing.
Kenda Loadstar KR17 radials are constructed with double steel belts and full nylon plies for increased durability and endurance. The premium rubber compound materials of this tire help disperse heat.
Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this Kenda Loadstar ST215/65R17 radial trailer tire in a Load Range C. Now this is a radial ply tire, which is great for highway use. It's constructed with double steel belts and full nylon plies for a nice long life, and they do use an automotive grade tread. Just want to zoom in here a little bit. This automotive grade tread has sipes, which are the cuts in the blocks here.
That'll channel water away from underneath the tire, helps improve traction during wet snowy or icy conditions, and it is a five rib tread design. It has a variable pitch block design that will help reduce road noise. Now this tire is a ST tire, which means Special Trailer tire. It has the sturdy sidewalls so that it can handle heavy loads. It is created specifically for trailers, it's not intended for use on any other vehicles, and this does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specifications. A few specs for this tire.
It's designed to fit wheel size of 17 inch by 6 inch wide, 17 by 6 1/2 inch wide, 17 by 7, and 17 by 7 1/2 inch wide wheels. The tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall ST for Special Trailer 215/65R17. The R stands for Radial design tire. Section width on this is 8 1/2 inches, overall diameter from the bottom to the top when it's inflated is 28 inches. This is a Load Range C tire, which means it's a six ply rated tire. It has a maximum load capacity of 1,874 pounds at 50 PSI, and the last thing I do want to mention is most all the new trailer tires come through with a speed rating on them and a speed rating is designated by a letter designation.
So right after the size that we just went over, you'll see two numbers for the load index, and at the very end is the letter M. Speed rating M will mean 81 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on this Kenda Loadstar ST215/65R17 Radial trailer tire in a Load Range C.

Great service and awesome tires. Thank You Guys.
Had a hard time finding the exact tire that is on my trailer, found etrailer, they had the tires in stock and a few days later they were at my door, easy website to use and they Carry a lot of inventory, I will order from them again!
Easy to order, and the product I needed was in stock. Delivered UPS and that is a plus too.
the two tires i ordered came in a timely manner as expected without any delay which is great.
Highly recommended! Quality products and quick shipping!!
I just had these tires mounted on the wheels today, so I can't really comment on the tire. I mean it's a great looking tire, but as far as how long it last and all that, we'll see. As far as dealing with e-trailer, it's about as easy as it gets. Everything was exactly as they said it would be, I got plenty of updates on shipping, which was great (expect for a weather delay, which was not E-trailers fault). I am very happy with this purchase from E-T. I was going to include a picture, but they basically look like tires, round, black, you know how it goes.
Super Fast Thx
Very easy to find what I needed and showed up on time!
Good product at a good price. Delivery was quick and easy. Only problem was my phone blowing up with additional ads after the order
Great service

Been a year and they have been great tires!
I haven’t gotten the tires on my trailer yet so I can’t offer a review for them.
I was told shipping would be delayed for 4 months so I ordered the same tire ($[XX] each X4 more) another provider.
I didn’t see the email that my tires as shipped before I could cancel the order. Now I have 8 tires and have to pay to return 4. I would have appreciated a phone call. Other than that I thought company was easy to work with.

No issues with the tires, but I will have to admit, since these tires are on my boat trailer, I have put a lot fewer miles on them than I would have liked to. At this rate the tires should last 10 years. I keep the boat trailer in the garage,as of today the tires still look brand new. THey only have about 1500 miles on them.
