Speaker 1: Today we're taken a look at the Curt trailer connector adapter. This is a seven-way RV style. It's a five-way flat. This adapter converts your seven pull blade style vehicle end connector for use with a five pull flat connector on your trailer. So again, perfect for running power from your vehicle with the seven-way RV plug to a trailer with a five-way flat plug. The connectors have the easy grip design, so you have finger indention's here so you can easily connect and disconnect that as well as on the five way flat, you have the easy grab tabs which allow for easy connecting and disconnecting.Now the coiled cord is designed to stretch up to five feet long.
The coiled design prevents wires from dragging on the ground. When it comes to the construction, we're looking at durable molded plastic construction to resist corrosion. It's a simple installation, just plug it in and you're ready to go. Again, fully extended from end of one plug to the end of the other is about 60 inches, that's five feet. Another neat feature about the unit is that when it's retracted, it doesn't take up much space.
It retracts easily for compact storage when not in use. That's gonna do it for today's look at the Curt trailer connector adapter.

- Adapter For 7-Way on Vehicle to 5-Way on TrailerI have a solution for you to consider, but there are no adapters for a 5-way round. What you can do though is just cut off the 5-way round on your boat trailer and wire in a 5-flat, the 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM47910. Then what you can use for a 7-way to 5-way adapter in the length you need is the 7-Way RV Style to 5-Way Flat - 60" Cord # C57281. I know this isn't 100% what you were asking for but I wanted to offer it as an option because there isn't a 5-round adapter.

What you can do instead is cut off the 5 way on your trailer and swap it with the Hopkins Endurance 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM47910 which you can then use the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter # C57281.

So what you'd want instead is the part # 37185 which does convert the 4-way to the 7-way that would work with the trailer connector.
