Since your new wires are all white you will need to determine the function of each using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. The brake light input will be only show power when you hit the brake pedal. The 12V input will be constantly active power. The ground will not have any power and the brake output wire will be the remaining wire once the ground to the frame is found. Then match the function to the following colors:
Blue=Brake Controller Output (normally blue on controller)
Red=12V... view full answer...
I spoke with Edge about the Pulsar L5P Inline Tuner with Insight CTS3 Monitor, part # EP29YR. They confirmed that this does in fact feature speed limiter adjustment.
The confusion probably stems from the fact the the V1 version of the Pulsars did not have this feature. The V2 and V3 versions do, though. This particular one is a V2, so you can rest assured that this the speed limiter adjustment. view full answer...
In regards to the Custom Third Brake Light Camera part # 3460010 which is a fit for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with 8" monitor, the plug location is indeed behind the glove box. In regards to the Custom Third Brake Light Camera part # 3460011 which is a fit for a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with 7" monitor, the plug location is behind the monitor. I am not sure what wires you are referencing but the best power source to use would be the two wires behind the cigarette lighter plug.... view full answer...
The Bright Way Solar Battery Charger part # BRW54FR will work on a group 27 battery as they are 12 volt and meet the 5 or more amp hour minimum. Please note, this won't charge a battery from dead but rather make sure it stays topped off. view full answer...
If your 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 has ISR above-bed base rails and you are referring to the Demco Hijacker Autoslide, # DM8550034 then yes. The Demco Hijacker Autoslide, # DM8550034 cannot be used with rails that are a part of a gooseneck adapter plate, the base rails must be securely bolted to your truck.
Please note the installation video that linked below. This shows the Demco Hijacker Autoslide, # DM8550034 being installed on 2015 GMC 2500 Series Truck.

Correct. When installing the Putco Element Window Visors # P480440 you will use 3 clips on each rear window. However, you'll want to make sure that the square end of the rear window wind deflector is oriented towards the front of the vehicle and the curved off end towards the rear of the vehicle. I've added a photo to show what I'm referring to as well as a copy of the instructions that we have available from Putco. view full answer...
Yes, if your brake controller, like the Prodigy P3 # 90195, is connected properly either with an adapter like part # 3016 for your 2015 Chevy Tahoe or if it is spliced in, the controller should be noticing that the trailer is connected.
If you are trying to test your trailer brakes for function and you are using a proportional brake controller, like the P3, then your towing setup will need to be in motion for the trailer brakes to be activated. This is due to the inertia sensor in these... view full answer...
The installation of your fifth wheel hitch rails will be specific to your vehicle and will include centering the rails and your hitch in your truck bed. You will start by measuring the distance from the farthest back part of the bed, not including the tailgate, to the specific measurement for your truck and bed length to center the rear rail in your truck box (this will be in the installation instructions). Then use your fifth wheel hitch as a guide to position the front rail and a tape... view full answer...
The Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screening # RM-4700 has some movement where it attaches on the RV side that keeps it as straight as possible to reduce the chance that the fabric would hang too low. However it is possible for it to touch the ground if the tow bar has to be close to the ground in order to tow the vehicle level. While it is unlikely this will happen it is still possible. I have linked a video showing it in action. view full answer...
The wheel mount of the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Gunmetal Gray # NV22G doesn't have to rest against the front forks of a bike when clamping down so you should have no problems flipping the bike around and having the rear tire be clamped down on. This rack has a per bike weight capacity of 60lbs. Since you're supposed to remove the batteries before hauling e-bikes this can help drop the weight of your e-bikes to fit within the capacity of the rack. If... view full answer...
Good question; and while you can back up with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA94-00-1061, a perpendicular or 90 degree turn is too tight. That's true of any weight distribution system though, and not only for backing up but for going forward as well.
So if you have to make that sharp of a turn you will definitely want to disconnect the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA94-00-1061.
Overall though, this is a fantastic choice for a weight distribution hitch because of its value;... view full answer...
The Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers part # 331-TPH-010 will plug into the area behind the large black panel located behind your emergency brake pedal. The cover is removed and the harness plugs into the upper left side of the panel. The harness is then ran straight up and the cover is replaced. From there you are ready to mount your Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller part # RED24FR.
Check out the linked video. While it is not on this specific... view full answer...
Since your Suburban has the factory 7-way trailer connector, installing the Redarc # RED44FR Tow Pro Elite will be a 100% plug and play installation. The # 331-TPH-010 harness plugs into a socket located in the junction box located behind the emergency brake pedal, as shown in the linked video and provided photo.
The video shows a different controller being installed, but the procedure will be similar with the Redarc. I've also linked to a product demonstration video. view full answer...
There isn't a custom wiring adapter to install the Prodigy P3 # 90195 into your 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, so you'll just need to hardwire the controller to the truck. The good news about your truck is that if you have a factory 7-way trailer connector the wiring is already run to the truck's cab. I've linked a video that shows the installation process for you.
If your truck didn't come with a factory 7-way at the rear, you can add one by installing # HM40975-11998. This install video... view full answer...
Assuming that the 7-way on the bumper is from the factory and the tow package harness can be unplugged from the rear of the connector, using a T-connector like # 41157 is what I'd recommend. Simply temporarily unplug the connection at the rear of the factory 7-way and plug the # 41157 inline as shown in the linked video. view full answer...

If the Automatic Headlights are the issue, then you could remove the fuses that control the headlights on your 2002 Chevrolet Tracker. I looked up the owner's manual for your vehicle and found the headlight fuses are located in slot 3 and 4 of the fuse box that is located in the engine compartment. You will just have to remember to re-install the fuses in your Tracker when it is not connected to your motorhome.

The brake light switch on your 2009 Chevy HHR is impossible to find (as you've experienced) so you're going to need to actually install the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751428. You won't be needing to use the Brake Light Relay Kit # RM-88400 because your tail light wiring is combined and not separate.
I have attached an installation video of the stop light switch kit on a 2011 HHR that you can check out. view full answer...

If you take a look at the video that I've linked of the Curt Front Mount Hitch # 31302 being installed on a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe that also has tow hooks you'll see that the bolt you're referring to is reused. The provided 1/2 inch carriage bolt is fishwired using the bolt leader into the hole that is further back on the vehicle but not on the one that is removed.
So yes, reusing the hardware is exactly what you should do. view full answer...
