You can replace the screen on Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent, # VP-543SP, in a few easy steps. Make sure that the screws that hold on the handle are exposed. Remove them and then the handle. Next unscrew the small black piece that holds the switch to the screen assembly. Then remove the 2 screws holding on the screen and pull out the screen. Reverse the process to put in the new screen. He stated that prior to removing the back drivers side jack compartment panel for access to the trailer wiring plug, he had to first remove the panel in front of it, by removing a few screws.

If the Automatic Headlights are the issue, then you could remove the fuses that control the headlights on your 2002 Chevrolet Tracker. I looked up the owner's manual for your vehicle and found the headlight fuses are located in slot 3 and 4 of the fuse box that is located in the engine compartment. It is possible that the harness can be found further forward of the jack compartment on your 2003 Chevy Tracker. You may need to remove a trim panel to gain access to it. According to the installation details linked below for reference, the 6-pin connector you need is located just forward of the jack compartment. It could have been tucked back further at some point or not placed in the common location at the factory.

Then simply cut the arm you are replacing where it is still straight closer to the main arm. It sounds like you have a 4-way connection on your vehicle and a 5-way connection on your trailer. You can plug the 4-way into the 5-way and the lights on your trailer will work as intended. The additional connection point on a 5-way is for the reverse lockout. If you do not need this you can cover it/cap it off, it does not have to be used. Alternatively you could add a 5-way adapter like the Curt # C57187 if you need the reverse lockout function.
