Redarc RED44FR Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller Installation on 2016 Chevy Suburban
Question:
I own a 2016 Suburban with the factory tow package. If I purchase the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite - part number RED44FR, along with the harness 331-TPH-010, will this just be plug and play or will I still have to splice in the other harness into my fuse box also?

Expert Reply:
Since your Suburban has the factory 7-way trailer connector, installing the Redarc # RED44FR Tow Pro Elite will be a 100% plug and play installation. The # 331-TPH-010 harness plugs into a socket located in the junction box located behind the emergency brake pedal, as shown in the linked video and provided photo.
The video shows a different controller being installed, but the procedure will be similar with the Redarc. I've also linked to a product demonstration video.
