The Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Nissan Titan XD Towing Prep Package # C16026 weighs roughly 129 lbs. Whether one person can install it or not is going to depend on the strength of the person. I have included a video that shows one person moving the hitch legs around in the bed of the truck alone to install them. view full answer...
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98907 which is a fit for a 2014 Nissan Murano uses M12-1.25 x 30mm hardware. If the bolts will not thread in then you'll want to clean out the weld nuts in the frame with a wire brush and lubricant. If the bolts still won't thread in you'll need to tap the threads using a 12 mm x 1.25 tap. view full answer...
If you're referring to the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Nissan Titan XD OEM # DM6200 then the puck legs wouldn't exactly lock into place in the pucks of Titan. The center gooseneck post would be the only point that locks and puck legs would simply sit in the pucks. As long as the locking bolt for the gooseneck post on the adapter is properly secured you'll be good to tow your trailer.
If you're referring to something else then please let me know and I'd be happy to take a look. view full answer...
There is not a template for trimming the air dam on your 2018 Nissan Frontier so you will want to look at the attached photo which shows how we trimmed the air dam. This way you can install it back onto your 2018 Nissan Frontier with the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # 31241 installed. view full answer...
The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31081 will not have to be removed when changing the oil on your 2019 Nissan Armada. When the hitch is in place you will still be able to remove (and re-install) the factory skid plate, which is what needs to be taken off when changing the oil on this vehicle.
I have attached a full installation video below that you can use for reference, along with the written install manual. view full answer...
I was able to speak to a SeaSucker representative and he informed me that the SeaSucker Ski and Snowboard Carrier - Vacuum Cup Mounted - 4 Pairs of Skis or 2 Boards, part # 298-SK2425, would be able to accommodate cross country skis on first setting.
I have included a product review link below. view full answer...
The Torque Specification is found in the installation instructions on our product page on the etrailer # e98846 receiver hitch. A Torque Wrench # PT87ZR would be the type that you would need to achieve that rating. view full answer...
You will be looking for 12V positive on your Frontier. Since many manufacturers change the wire color on their vehicles it is always recommended to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wires to make sure you are using the right ones.
On a Nissan, the stop light wire is typically Red with a Green tracer but using a circuit tester to find the wire that only shows power when the brake pedal is depressed is the wire you are looking for.
On the Nissan you would connect the... view full answer...
The front-mount trailer hitch receiver you referenced, Curt # 31241, is a fit for specific Nissan and Suzuki vehicles including your 2014 Frontier.
No drilling is required but the air dam (lower fascia) and tow hooks must be permanently removed for hitch installation. No cutting is needed either. You will need a torque wrench to secure the fasteners to the specified rating as indicated in the written instructions from Curt which are linked for you at right. view full answer...
We do have confirmed 2-inch hitch fits for your 2014 Nissan NV200 van and all can be seen on the link at right. All share a Class III rating, 3500-lb maximum trailer weight capacity and all install without drilling using included hardware.
Installation of any of these hitches will require temporary lowering of the exhaust and spare tire (for better access to the hitch mounting points). Also all will require some degree of trimming of the underbody fascia panels. Since all three hitches... view full answer...
The brake controller install connector on your 2019 Nissan Titan is supposed to be under the dash above the gas pedal. The best way to tell that all of the functions on the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # C56226 are working correctly is to use a circuit tester # PTW2992 and check all of the pins. I haven't heard of having to switch the blue and gray wires being a huge issue for installing this on your 2013 Nissan Xterra, but you can quickly double check all of the functions using the method I mentioned above. I'm also adding a photo showing what... view full answer...

In order to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR on your 2020 Nissan Frontier you will also want the # RED39FR adapter.
Redarc does not make a vehicle specific mounting panel for your Frontier or any other Nissan. We do, however, have the Universal Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-001. It is worth noting that the # RED44FR does not require a mounting panel and can be installed by drilling holes in the dash... view full answer...
I've looked over the installation instructions for the Draw-Tite # 24788 (no longer available) and the Curt # C11264.
I've linked you to the installation instructions for all three hitches, and as you can see, the procedure for installing all three hitches is identical. There are differences between the hitches, however.
The Draw-Tite Class I, # 24788 includes the hitch and the installation hardware only. If all you were needing the hitch for is to provide an attachment point for a bike... view full answer...
You can install the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORTUN4L on your 2019 Nissan Frontier with a suspension lift.
In order to do so, you need to add the appropriate amount of spacers that will allow you to wind up with between 1/2" and 1-1/2" of space between the spring and its contact point above the axle. The spring itself measures 3-3/4" tall so you can use that as a guideline to determine how many of the following spacers you will need:

From your question and recent searches, it sounds like you are referring to the Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ Enclosed Cargo Carrier and Cargo Carrier - 2" Hitches # Y44ZR. This carrier requires a 2-inch hitch receiver like the Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75898. This hitch will allow you to carry the Yakima EXO dual cargo carrier # Y44ZR.
Also, if you need straps to secure your cargo to the cargo tray on the EXO, I recommend the # E98876-4. view full answer...
Draw-Tite recommends the removal of the lower panel you referenced when installing the part # 75902, but if you found a way to trim the panel and have it reinstalled that is fine as well. We can't officially recommend that since it's not what Draw Tite recommends.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well. view full answer...
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK58VR for your 2022 Nissan Pathfinder has the following max amp ratings:
Stop/turn lights: 5 amps per circuit
Tail lights: 7.5 amps per circuit
This is sufficient for standard trailer lighting whether it's LEDs or incandescent lights. The only time you'll need to worry about overdrawing is if you've added a LOT of extra lights to your boat trailer. If you'd like to still check on the amperage of your boat trailer you can test the draw of each of your... view full answer...
If you are trying to maintain a charge for a trailer battery via the 7-Way, you will want to use the top right pin on the 7-Way (if looking at the front of the vehicle side plug). It is the 12 volt power source.
On the trailer side connector, attach the wire coming from the top right pin (if looking at the back of the plug) to the trailer battery positive terminal. Now when the trailer is connected and you are towing, the tow vehicle will provide a maintenance charge to the trailer battery.
