On any given vehicle with any given hitch you could experience something, usually exhaust, rattling against the hitch. There are ways this can be corrected. I have included a link to our help article that explains what can be done.

The size bolts that come with the Draw Tite hitch part # 24867 are M12 X 1.25 X 35mm CL8.8 and M10 X 1.25 X 30mm CL8.8. Looks like the passenger side bolts are the M12 size and the driver side is M10.

The Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack part # TH903202 uses the Thule stinger system that does have the thinner pin. The design of the thin pin is simply to align the pin holes and index them. The knob on the back is what is actually holding the rack solid and in place. The pin of course helps but the main 'hold" is in the anti-rattle system.

It sounds like you already know what you need to do but if the exhaust is rattling after installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11302 on your 2013 Nissan Juke there is really only one solution for this and that is to bend the exhaust hangers away from the trailer hitch. On your 2015 Nissan Juke you'll need to remove the panels on both the driver's and passenger's side to install the # 118528 trailer wiring harness. To remove the panels you can use a flat head screw driver, or some other tool for prying, to release the tabs on the backside of the panels.

The short answer is that your bikes shouldn't make contact when installed on the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier # TH910XT. This bike rack has preventative measures with the no-sway cage accessories and adjustable cradle positions to help keep that from happening. The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2013 Nissan Juke FWD is # 24892. Installation of this hitch is different than for the one on your 2011 Juke. Basically it does not use any weld nuts in the vehicle frame. None of the hitches for the 2013 FWD do. Bolts have to be ran through the frame and attached to the hitch that way (on one side) and to a tie down loop (on the passenger's side). We have heard some people had issues with hitch installs on their Jukes if they had aftermarket exhaust and were using a different hitch than the Draw-Tite Hitch # 24892 that you referenced, but if you have the stock exhaust system and get the # 24892 you should be perfectly fine.
