This hitch requires no drilling to mount it on your car; you may care to refer to the linked instructions and video to see just how simple the process is. When using hitch mounted accessories, you have to...

  • Is Frame Hole Enlargement/Temporary Exhaust Lowering Required to Install Hitch on 2013 Nissan Juke
  • To install any of the trailer hitches for the 2013 Nissan Juke, front wheel drive, you will need to enlarge an existing access hole on the frame. This can be done in several ways including using a drill, rotary tool, or file. You will still need to lower the exhaust as well. The Draw Tite Hitch part # 24892 would be a great hitch for your vehicle. I attached an install video for you to check out. For trailer wiring you would want the Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118528, Ball Mount...

  • Thule Locking Question
  • The Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack part # TH903202 uses the Thule stinger system that does have the thinner pin. The design of the thin pin is simply to align the pin holes and index them. The knob on the back is what is actually holding the rack solid and in place. The pin of course helps but the main 'hold" is in the anti-rattle system. There are no options for a different type of pin that will allow you to se it in a different configuration. The Thule system is very secure...

  • Exhaust Rattles After Installing Curt Hitch C11302 On a 2013 Nissan Juke
  • It sounds like you already know what you need to do but if the exhaust is rattling after installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11302 on your 2013 Nissan Juke there is really only one solution for this and that is to bend the exhaust hangers away from the trailer hitch. I will say however that this usually does not require any extensive bending as an 1/8" is enough to stop the rattle in most cases but I recommend you just do little by little making sure to start the vehicle...

  • Installation of Trailer Wiring Harness for 2015 Nissan Juke
  • On your 2015 Nissan Juke you'll need to remove the panels on both the driver's and passenger's side to install the # 118528 trailer wiring harness. To remove the panels you can use a flat head screw driver, or some other tool for prying, to release the tabs on the backside of the panels. I've linked a video on a different harness that installs the same way. Skip ahead to about the 50 second mark and you can see how the panels are removed.

  • How Does a Trailer Hitch Install on a 2013 Nissan Juke FWD
  • The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2013 Nissan Juke FWD is # 24892. Installation of this hitch is different than for the one on your 2011 Juke. Basically it does not use any weld nuts in the vehicle frame. None of the hitches for the 2013 FWD do. Bolts have to be ran through the frame and attached to the hitch that way (on one side) and to a tie down loop (on the passenger's side). I have included a link to the installation instructions for you so you can see the installation procedure.

  • Does the Exhaust of a 2011 Nissan Juke Need to be Modified to Install a Drawtite Hitch # 24892
  • We have heard some people had issues with hitch installs on their Jukes if they had aftermarket exhaust and were using a different hitch than the Draw-Tite Hitch # 24892 that you referenced, but if you have the stock exhaust system and get the # 24892 you should be perfectly fine. I attached installation instructions for this hitch for you to check out also, the exhaust will need to be lowered like on most hitch installs, but no modifications will need to made to it.
