What Color Wire Do I Connect The Brake Controller Stop Light Wire To On 2003 Nissan Frontier
Question:
What kind of brake signal do I need from the brake switch? Is it 12V positive or 12V negative? By chance, would you know the wire color/markings to which I should connect? Many thanks.

You will be looking for 12V positive on your Frontier. Since many manufacturers change the wire color on their vehicles it is always recommended to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wires to make sure you are using the right ones.
On a Nissan, the stop light wire is typically Red with a Green tracer but using a circuit tester to find the wire that only shows power when the brake pedal is depressed is the wire you are looking for.
On the Nissan you would connect the Red wire on the vehicle to the black wire on the controller, the stop light explained above, the black wire on the Frontier to the white wire on the brake controller which is the ground. The brown wire with a white tracer would be connected to the blue wire on the brake controller.
