• Jacketed 5 Pole Trailer Wiring
  The best I can do for you is recommend getting the Hopkins Wiring Harness # HM37918 and some wire loom # 7509-1. The only jacketed wiring we have are 4 pole connectors. The wiring harness is plenty long so you can just cut off the excess. If you only need exactly 10ft you can get the 10ft roll of loom # 7509-10. One thing you could do is get this # DW04906-1 jacketed 6-wire which you can buy per foot. You won't use the 6th wire so just cap it off if need be.

  There are a number of options for routing the hot lead to the battery when installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118767 in your 2015 Honda Fit, but since this harness mounts outside the vehicle the best option is to run it along the exterior of the frame and up through the engine compartment. • How To Secure Trailer Wiring When Inside Of Frame Is Not An Option
  You could use pvc pipe and secure it to the frame of the trailer, but that is way overkill and way more work then you need to do to protect the wires. I would just get some wire loom the correct size for however many wires you have to run, and some claps to secure that to the frame. Since most trailers only have 2-3 wires going all the way to the back you should be fine with 1/4" wire loom # 7509-1, and securing it to the frame with clamps # A0250, and self-tapping screws # FA1131822.

  While Tekonsha does not have a plug and play extension you can cut the included end off of the Adapter # 3073-P and extend it 34" # 7894 or 60" # 20160 with one of their universal pig tails.
