Standard 4-way flat plugs have a small surface area to grip when you are pulling them apart, forcing you to wriggle the plugs back and forth to loosen them. Some users even pull on the wires. This can lead to broken terminals or ripped wiring. With the Easy-Pull harness, the plug has a large grip ring designed to make disconnecting a snap. Simply slide your finger into the ring and pull the plug away from the opposite plug to disconnect.
The Easy-Pull is also available as a vehicle-end 4-way flat plug. Combine the Easy-Pull trailer-end plug and vehicle-end plug for the easiest possible disconnection. With ring handles on both connectors, disconnecting is as simple as gripping the rings and pulling straight apart. No wriggling, no broken terminals, and no damaged wires.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Hopkins Endurance easy pull Y-harness, with the 4-pole flat trailer connector. Now this harness measures 20 feet long. Provides a great option when it comes to rewiring your trailer. The 4-way flat trailer and connector, plugs into the 4-way flat on your vehicle. And this does feature the wishbone design, so the Y-harness contains two separate taillight wires. The left side taillight wire is bundled with the left turn and brake wire.
And then the right side taillight wire is bundled with the right turn and brake wire.It features the easy to pull ring that makes the 4-way easy to disconnect. So the ring handle makes it easy to pull the connector straight back for proper leverage. That way you don't have to wiggle it loose when unplugging. And you don't have to risk damaging your terminals. Also, the wide handle provides a nice, easy grip design so you can either put a finger in there and pull it back, or you can grab on the edges there, and pull it straight back as well.Pretty simple installation.
What you see here on the table, is what it comes with. So you get some terminal grease, and you get the harness. Connectors are sold separately. I do recommend using heat shrink butt connectors when making your connections to the trailer lights. The unit does feature corrosion resistant terminals that are long lasting.
The inner ring diameter right here is one inch. Outer diameter is 1-7/8 of an inch.Again, this harness measures 20 feet long, and it's a great option when it comes to rewiring your trailer and wanting to provide a 4-way flat connector on your trailer to easily connect to the 4-way flat on your vehicle. The white wire right here, is your ground wire. Has a ring terminal pre attached to it. On this side, you have the yellow wiring, which is for the left turn and brake.
