Real fast shipping and free over a [XX]$. I do my research including ratings. I am a repeat customer, having built a trailer last Summer. Perfect for what we use them for and to be honest we use them in an unconventional way. Our fleet of 94 flat bottom Kann boats have these mounted as well at the DL-15403 winches (matching 2500 lbs left side handle) up by the bow of the boat that helps us tie onto a barge or any other piece of marine equipment we may be trying to move at the time. Thy hold up to stress that we put them to as they are reeled out and winched up several times a day. I would recommend these to everyone!

I bought these winches for my crank down fish house. They are much better quality than the ones the trailer came with. The only thing that I would say is make sure you are aware that there is a right and left handed version of these winches. I saw a customer service response to a negative review otherwise I would of missed this important fact!

Same as the right hand version! You get what you pay for, glad I spent the extra money. Also not easy finding these left handed, I've disassembled other cheaper winches to reassemble as left handed, but not everything is 100% symmetrical. Not sure if the 2500A is, but didn't care since you can buy it both ways. I obviously wish they we're so expensive, but the cheap ones just didn't work for my application.

I cannot believe that this expensive item did not come with a strap mounted to it and it does not have the bolt and nut that the strap mounts to also. It sure is sad that this is the only version of winch that has a left handed crank on it they all should be set up to be used either left or right handed. The strap that I bought from you to mount to it will not work as it is not sewn together at the end and you could not see this from the literature that was provided.

Well, haven’t used it much but, looks like a quality product , which is why I paid more than a cheap winch. When I did use it, it was a joy to winch my heavy boat on the trailer I basically built from your parts. So yeah, I’m content with my purchases, your customer support, and prices.
