Today we're going to review part number DL24055. This is the Dutton Lainson Mounting Adapter Plate for the Dutton Lainson Strong Arm Electric Winches. This heavy zinc-plated adapter plate will allow you to mount the Dutton Lainson Strong Arm Electric Winches onto a narrow trailer winch stand. Basically, this plate has the quick-mount studs that allow for easy installation and removal of the winch base of your Strong Arm winch. Basically, this has a nice zinc Tough Plate finish. It is made in the USA. A few specs on this. Length is going to be right at 8 inches, width is right at 4 inches and it is a 3/8ths-inch-thick plate.
The application for this is for all Dutton Lainson Strong Arm SA and TW Series electric winches. The way this would work is, basically, you get the Strong Arm Winch Base and it would have the three slots in it that would line up here. What you would do is, first you would install this to your narrow winch stand using these bolts and nuts with the washer. What you would do is just drop those in there, and there's three of them, so you do want to use the three bolts. You can use two, but they do recommend that if only two are used, you don't want to exceed a 3,000-pound line pull because with two bolts, it could be possibly be broken. If possible, you always want to use all three of these to install it. Once it's installed to your winch stand, then what you can do is, your Strong Arm winch base will just lower down, the holes will line up.
You just slide it until they lock into these quick-mount studs. Once it's onto those studs, you just drop this hex-head bolt through the Strong Arm Winch Base through this adapter plate and the winch stand. Then you just take this wing nut to hold it into place. Very simple, easy installation. That should do it for the review on part number DL24055, the Dutton Lainson Mounting Adapter Plate for the Strong Arm electric winches. .

Made in the USA. Excellent product. Plenty of power to pull my 20’ Trophy onto the trailer. Plenty of power cable to wire to a power source. I bought a battery and box and mounted it to the tonge of my trailer and wired it into my seven prong plug. The battery charges while you are going down the road regardless of who is towing it.

Not real happy. The JC-102 and the adapter plate were just thrown on top of the tire which was in the box. When opening the tire box , the adapter plate package was busted open, with the adapter plate and all the screws, nuts and washers all over within the box. Unfortunately a couple nuts and washers are no longer in the box. I'd guess they fell out of the hand hold openings on the box as it was tossed around during shipment. Can't believe one wouldn't of wrapped these two items up in some packing to keep them intact and also from banging around against this new tire. So now I can run to store and buy what's missing. Pretty disappointed

Products worked great for the first year. Had to drill out the holes a little for the initial installation. Not a big problem but I didn’t expect to have to do that.

Good product, quick arrival.Packaging was a bit rough some more care needed in that department especially with four sharp corners and such a heavy item, steel plate. This was the ticket to complete my trailer winch.A real back saver for me. Compliments my electric winch from Dutton-Lainson.
