Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

I have had no issues with the tires. During the past year I have been over some pretty rough roads full of pot holes in SC. They have preformed perfectly. Thanks to etrailer for recommending them.

I have had these on my trailer for about a year now. They are working GREAT! They are holding up to the abuse we have put them through and come out on the other end without a scratch.
This tire and wheel are great, bought for a Triton aluminum trailer. But the best was the etrailer service - shipped immediately, arrived in two days, inflated and ready to put on.

We used the trailer with the Loadstar ST17580D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13 . I put 10000 mile on the with a trip to Alaska. The tires are pretty much used up now. I thought I would get better mileage with them. Not very good May be 2 stars for tread life,
Quality product, fair pricing.
This is more a review of etrailer than on the tire. But as for the tire, it is an exact match to the two I have on my trailer. I bought the trailer used and it did not have a spare.
Now on to my review of etrailer. I looked high and low to try to find this tire and nobody carried the D load rated version of this tire, which is what my trailer requires. I then scoured the web and, while I was able to find the tire itself at several different online stores, I was unable to find it installed on the rim (needed for a spare tire) until I came upon etrailer. I was leaving for a week long camping trip in eight days and was able to get the tire delivered in what turned out to be four business days (I selected five-day shipping and ended up getting the tire in four). Having spent just over $100 for the tire and two dehumidifiers, the five-day expedited shipping did not cost much.
etrailer.com, which I had never heard of before my search for a spare tire, saved the day, and I will be sure to use them for other trailer needs in the future.
I purchased four of these wheel and tire sets two years ago from etrailer at a real good price. I used an old wheel and tire for a spare. It never felt right though to use an old tire for this purpose so I recently looked on etrailer's site and found they still sold the exact same wheel and tire. (and at the identical price). Now I have a full set of five that match perfectly. Thanks etrailer for selling the exact same product.

Time will tell if I am happy with the tires and rims I purchased from etrailer.com. But I can say that when I called with a few questions about my purchase, Donna was very friendly and helpful. Wow, etrailer.com is great! I live in Phoenix, AZ and I could not believe that none of the big tire companies in the city could get these tires. Etrailer.com not only had them in stock for immediate shipping but, also the price was very reasonable. No charge for shipping and they arrived in 4 business days. They were packaged so there was no abrasions during shipping. They were mfg. in 2013.
They were not old left over stock. I have not had them on the road yet but I don't for see any problems. If you need this tire size with a load range-D you can't go wrong getting them at etrailer.com.
Top quality D rated (1600@65 PSI) tires and rims at same price others sell C rated tires. Good having an extra 500 lbs. of load capacity for my boat trailer. Liked the beefy tread and expect to get many miles of use.
Packaging of 2 rims and tires was done perfectly with long box so rims were never touching while in transit.
