1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee

This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.

Bias Tires vs. Radial Tires

Bias vs. radial tire graphic

Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Nice upgrade from the 12's that were on before (after some modifications to the trailer.) Like the speed rating and added diameter to help preserve the bearings.

by:

Nice looking tires and wheels.

by:

Mike was super helpful about guiding me the correct tire/wheel size a making sure I had the correct hub size to match.

by:

They are on my trailer but have not used it yet looking forward though

by:

I ordered these for my 1997 Jayco 1207 KB popup camper. I ordered item K71-723-01 to provide extra clearance for the tires. Everything shipped quickly! I ordered three of these tires and wheels. They are all great and fit perfectly.

by:

very quick service and delivery

by:

by:

Fit and finish were excellent. I couldn't find this ture and wheel size with this bolt pattern anywhere else. Shipping was one day faster that predicted and the item arrived boxed and in perfect condition.

by:

Please keep the good work.

by:

A great business to order parts from. Melissa T is fantastic as well

by:

These wheels and tires still look new after a year. The trailer does not get moved often, but just the same, I am confident all will be well when I do move it.

by:

Nice tires

by:

Order arrived on time and was exactly what I wanted.

by:

Went up from 12" to 13" wheels and decided on these because of their speed rating (M 81 mph). Perfect fit onto existing hubs. 2500 miles from Florida to Nova Scotia, Canada at mostly 65 mph. No problems. Tires did not get excessively hot, could always touch with full palm.
Fast delivery from e-trailer.

by:

Incredibly good product and price. Excellent service.

by:

Always fast service , products are good

by:

Seem great so far! Bought them for a camper I built. Was planning on going from Indiana to Yellowstone last summer with them. But then COVID hit and National Parks closed. We have done some more local trips of 25-100 miles and worked great so far.

by:

These tires are fantastic after 1 year and 2600 miles the tires still look brand new. I believe that these tires will last another year and 2600 more miles. For the last 15 years I have been getting around 1200 miles out of a set of tires, I love to fish so my trailer goes everywhere. yes I will buy these again.

the tires still look new and have 4100 miles on them fantastic

by:

Good website, very good product and price, extraordinary service.

I was very pleased with the tire ordering process, it was easy to understand. The tires were shipped and received in a timely manner. My only concern is with the age of the tires. The tires were mfg. 51 of 17 since it is now 5 of 19 the tires are already 17 months old. Your website recommends a life expectancy of trailer tires to be 7 years that would be 84 months. So the tires I got have already gone through 20% of their life expectancy. My reference number is107755102

Its not unheard of for tires to arrive at our location that were manufactured a year or more before we received them. These tires are manufactured overseas. After they are manufactured, they can sit in a warehouse for months until theyre packed in a shipping container and ultimately loaded on a container ship and shipped to the US. The trip here and entry through US Customs can take a month or even more. The tires then sit in a warehouse in the US until we order and receive them. Tires that are stored in a warehouse under controlled conditions dont age or dry rot like tires that are exposed to the elements and UV radiation do. The fact that your tires were older than a year when you received them will not have any effect on their lifespan or durability. They should be good for up to 6-7 years, assuming theyre not stored in direct sunlight, not overloaded, kept properly inflated and their speed rating isnt being exceeded. The product warranty begins at the date of purchase, not the date of manufacture.

Doing a DIY lift on my ancient Jayco pop up trailer to accommodate larger tires with a higher speed rating. Tires arrived very well packed and in perfect condition, very happy with them!

Its a year later and these tires are still going strong. Multiple camping trips with the now lifted popup under our belt and these tires have made pulling the trailer at highway speeds a breeze. The larger diameter combined with the axle lift also means getting the trailer into the back country is easier. Highly recommend these tires if youre doing a lift on your popup!

  • Which Tire Size is Recommended to Replace B78-13 Tires on Tow Dolly
The modern equivalent of your B78-13 tire size is a 175/80-13. Our tire and wheel assemblies in this tire size come with either a 4 on 4 inch wheel bolt pattern or a 5 on 4-1/2 inch wheel bolt pattern. So, if your existing wheels have a 4 bolt pattern, your best option is the Kenda Loadstar Bias Trailer Tire, which you can either get with a galvanized wheel part # AM3S130, or with a white wheel, part # AM3S120. Either one will have a 1,360-lb maximum load at 50 psi (load range C). Otherwise,...

With that said your 1963 Aristocrat Lo-Liner Camper weighs in at about 1300 lbs. with out all your gear in there. Add another 500 lbs. of goodies and we get to about 1800 lbs. With...

If within the first 12 months the tires are damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge. If you want to stay with a 12" wheel I recommend the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tires item # AM30780. We do have a nice selection of ST175/80D13 trailer tires available that are mounted on a wheel with a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern. I recommend taking a look at the Kenda Loadstar # AM3S120 that features a maximum load of 1,360 pounds at 50 psi and an excellent speed rating of 81 mph. This tire wheel is a load range C combo and has a capacity of 1360 lbs at 50 psi. The wheel pilot hole will only matter if A) the wheel centers on the hub and uses wheel bolts, nut lug nuts, to secure to the hub or B) if the hole is too small on a hub that uses lug nuts. If your wheels secure to the hub using lug nuts then the pilot hole can be larger than the part of the hub it fits on. Why we use decimals and not fractions is because when a wheel does install with wheel bolts, the pilot hole has to be exact. Fractions are not accurate enough and someone can easily...
