1-Year Worry-Free Guarantee

This tire has a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If within the first 12 months the tire is damaged in any way, it will be replaced at no charge.

Bias Tires vs. Radial Tires

Bias vs. radial tire graphic

Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

Shipped same day as ordered. Items were boxed and well protected . Exactly as described and fit perfectly. Can’t say anything about how they will hold up on the road but so far it’s been a good buy .

by:

Super fast shipping. Tires and rims look great and the boat trailer is back on the road. Came individually packed in easy to handle shipping boxes. UPS delivered simple.

by:

My tire and wheel arrived timely, well packaged and true my specifications.

It has been a year and the rims and tires have preformed faultlessly. You couldnt ask for better!

by:

The tires I ordered arrived in a week from ordering day to my door. Pretty quick! The 4 tires arrived individually boxed, and filled with air in perfect condition (see pics). I didn't know they would be boxed, I thought they may be plastic wrapped or something. Boxing is better as that helped them to arrive in excellent condition. They match the boat trailer perfectly and I would do business with etrailer again anytime! There just isn't anything I could possibly complain about. 5/5 stars.

by:

Outstanding service. Thank you.

by:

I ordered 2 wheels/tires, and they showed up at my door 47 hours and 15 minutes later. Outstanding! And that was using the standard free shipping. You can't beat that with a length of iron pipe.

They great on my newly rebuilt trailer, too. (see photos) I haven't put any miles on them yet, other than pushing it in and out of my shop a couple times, so I 'spose you could say they have about 30 feet on them so far. From the other reviews of these tires I suspect they will perform fine.

The price for the tires was $27.00 less apiece than a local trailer dealer for the exact same product. That gives me $54.00 to spend on doo-dads for my motorcycle! (As if you can buy much for a motorcycle for $54.00...)

by:

Tire and Wheels arrived in short order, and in good condition. Have made one trip camping after installing. No issues. Buying tire and wheel combo made tire replacement quick and easy. Price was right. Tires seem to be wearing well. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for new tire/wheel combo.

by:

Bought an old camper with unmatched tires. Etrailer had exactly what I was looking for. Tires were delivered faster than I expected. Each one in its own box. Really good product at a great price. I would have given a 5 star but I ordered a set of 4 and only 3 were delivered. Found out afterward that my order was split and the 4th tire would be delivered in a couple days. I will do business with etrailer again for sure!

by:

The tires and wheels were extremely great good quality and quick shipping ,Great service .Very satisfied.

by:

Exactly as described and excactly what I needed. Good price, lightning fast shipment and delivery. This will be used as a spare on a boat I just purchased. VERY satisfied!!

by:

I received my shipment within a few days and received information from etrailer prior to the delivery and after. Exactly what I ordered and arrived in good shape.

by:

Always use trailer for camper tires and utility trailer tires. Order these on Monday, they were here Thursday.

by:

Good information 0n what size rims and tires you need, good communication and fast shipping, tires look and fit perfect.

by:

Excellent tires and rims a year later i just sold my double axle trailer for a smaller one .Quality product and service Thanks Again You and your crew are AWESOME

by:

New tires and wheels, great finishing touch to this new tear drop build.

by:

Found what I needed easily on line, easy ordering, and swift delivery!

by:

Expensive to return things.

by:

  • Need a Replacement Tire For 6.95-14 Trailer Tire
I spoke with our in-house tire specialist about a replacement tire for your 6.95-14 size trailer tire. The 6.95-14 tire which is an older size, would translate to an outer diameter or height of 25.1 inches and a width of 6.95 inches. The closest size we have in a 14 inch tire would be an ST 205/75/14, which has an overall height of 26.3 inches and a width of 7.8 inches. For an ST 205/75/14, we have the Kenda Tire and Wheel, part # AM3S440. You will need to measure to make sure you will...

  • Recommended Replacements for a Trailer Hub With an LM67048 Inner Bearing and LM11949 Outer Bearing
It sounds like you have an agricultural style hub, like our part # AH15450ECOMP. In reality, replacement items are available for your current setup, but because you mention that this a boat trailer, your best option would really be to switch out to an EZ-Lube assembly. The current agricultural hub might hold up if you are just submerging them once or twice a season, but for repeated use you will really want to switch out the spindle, hub, and wheels. I would recommend going with EZ-Lube...

  • Recommended 14 Inch Mod Wheel And Bias-Ply Tire For Spare On Utility Trailer
We do not have a tire/wheel combo that fits all of your criteria, but we do have the items as separate components. The wheel I recommend is the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel, part # AM20365. This is a steel white powder coated wheel with round holes and it measures 14 x 5-1/2 inches. It has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and has a pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. The tire I recommend for this wheel is the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire, part # AM1ST86. A Load Range C ST205/75D14 like part # AM3S440 would have a 1,760 lb capacity at 50 psi. • How to Measure Bolt Pattern on Trailer Wheel
5 on 4.25 is a real bolt pattern but it isn't something you see on trailer wheels. This is typically found on passenger vehicles. More than likely you have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern but you should double check again to be sure. One way to do this is by printing the template I attached in the link below. You can also measure from center to outside edge of one of the two farthest holes, or use the center to center measurement of adjacent holes. If your center to center measurement is 2-5/8"...

  • Possible Causes of Uneven Tire Wear on Triple Axle Boat Trailer
I would have that center torsion axle checked, to make sure nothing's been bent. As for wear on the inside and outside of the tires, you'll want to check the tires for proper inflation. Trailer tires should be kept inflated to the max pressure listed on the tire sidewall. Over inflated tires will show premature wear on the center of the tread, while under inflation will cause wear on the inner and outer edges of the tires. The center axle tires would me more susceptible to wear because...

  • Is a C Range 205/75-14 Tire Less Likely to Fail than a D Range 185/80-13
When comparing the 175/80-13 and the 185/80-13 tires, load range D, there is not much difference. The larger 185 is going to be about 0.3 inches taller, about 3/8 of an inch wider, and have a higher capacity at 1,725 pounds at 65 psi. Both sizes will fit on the same rim. Please note the higher capacity does not allow you to carry more weight. Trailer tires should also always be inflated to the maximum psi rating indicated on the tire. The next size up would be a 205/75-14. This of course...
