Bias ply tires are designed for off-road or agricultural applications. They are built with thick, durable nylon cords that are positioned at a 30- to 45-degree angle to the direction of travel. The layers alternate in a crisscross pattern, making the sidewalls stiffer so that the entire tire is able to flex easily. As a result, the tire provides a smooth ride and improved handling when trailering on uneven surfaces.
Determining the Bolt Pattern
The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.
To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)
On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)
Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

these tires were just what I was looking for to carry my side by side to the cabin or where ever we wanted to go. They were priced right and look Great and still look Great after one year! I would rate the tires Excellent!
The wrong tire was shipped. I ordered a galvanized rim and they sent me a painted rim with the wrong label on it.

After purchasing an awesome aluminum trailer from Nitro trailers in Maine. I realized I needed a spare tire. I looked to Etrailer to find a quality spare tire that would look good and match what I had. I was able to look at some reviews and watch videos to confirm I was making the right purchase. I also needed a method of mounting that tire and found a great mount here as well. While shopping at etrailer I found this nice wheel chock to aid in hauling my motorcycle. Great combo. Put a few thousand miles on these last summer and I couldn't be happier. The bead came securely seated (no annoying slow leaks). These things held their pressure all summer and wore like they should.
Tires were great . Trailer handles so much better.

Working out great ,wheels and tires are still in good shape. Trailer is still running smooth.
Economy Spare Tire Carrier . Works great for the money and very easy to install. I had to make a easy to do adapter because of the area I had to mount it. 2 short peices of pipe and 2 large washers would do it. I have welding capability so I went one step further.
This has been used as a spare tire but has held air and still looks good and not rusty. The price and quality of the tire has served well.

I needed a spare tire and rim to match the ones on a boat trailer I recently bought. Etrailer.com was able to match my tire exactly, and for a much better price than I could find locally. They were able to exactly match a spare tire carrier to fit my trailer as well. Will use them for all my trailer needs in the future.

I am sorry that the tire did not last for you. The tires on the rims that we carry are balanced in the sense that the low spot on the tire is matched with the high spot on the rim. Typically that is all that is needed when running on tire on a trailer. There can be a couple of reasons why the tread was destroyed. There could be excessive heat causing be underinflating. The tire could be overloaded. If the speed rating for the tire is surpassed. The spindles could be bent. All of these can cause uneven wear on the tire and lead to a blow out. The tire does have a 5 year warranty against manufacturer defect if everything else is checking out.

The work man ship for one wheel is not looking good as the other one. The coating is poor on the back side of the wheel.
Been from Delaware to Maine and back Fishing and put about 1500 miles on them and they still look very good. Will buy again because I have 2 Boat Trailers.
