Busted clean off where the main lift cylinder is welded to the bracket. The weld did not penetrate the lift cylinder at all, on either side. The whole weldment remained attached to the bracket. The cylinder didn't receive enough heat to melt during the weld. Instead, the weld puddle just lay across the cylinder.

by:

Very nice to deal with these guys.

by:

Welded them to trailer for stability during rear loading, also good for changing out wheels

by:

Received product in 2 days, excellent communication on order status and follow up once order was received. Installed these on a 20’ utility trailer to stabilize the rear when I load my skid steer. Thank you.

by:

Great product and the sidewind was a nice upgrade to what I currently have!

by:

Excellent product! I purchased one not to long ago for try it out and quickly came back to buy another. Solid product, highly recommend.

by:

Ordered the Bulldog jack , service was fast and accurate. Gave the product to a friend to replace the Bulldog jack on his trailer since I had broken the jack on his trailer when I borrowed it.

by: 09/10/2023

Product was as described and received in a timely manner.

by:

Fair price Quick shipment AAA +++

by:

this particular jack is easier to use that the top winding handle and has lasted much better than top winders

by:

I had this side handle trailer jack installed by a welder on my light weight utility trailer. It is easy to crank up or down and very sturdy. I replaced an old wheeled jack with the pull and spin option for moving the jack out of the way. This one is much easier and faster to use. I would highly recommend this.

by:

I recently purchased a hitch set up for my Toyota Tundra. I installed the towing kit without having to drill any holes. It arrived in a timely manner and I am very pleased with cost and the product!
I plan to pull a trailer withe towing package. I also purchased a bulldog lift for a work related piece of equipment that also worked very well.

by:

I’ve had my trailer Jack I purchased from etrailer.com for a year now. It’s attached to a 10’ pull behind Bush Hog shredder and It has served me well, no issues whatsoever and the buying experience was great.

by:

great product and etrailer went above and beyond to help me get my jacks. they were sent and for some reason i didn't get them, called etrailer they got them right back out and i have them Thanks!

by:

We are an OEM and had a customer spec a trailer jack from another website. When we couldnt procure that trailer jack anymore, etrailer helped cross to this one. Pricing was in line and the customer liked the new product.

by:

Fantastic Jack. Works better than any jacks I have ever used on my trailers. Highly recommend them to anyone needing to replace a jack or if you are building a new trailer.

by:

Very smooth when lifting the trailer. Would recommend to a friend.

by:

Good quality product and good service from etrailer. I replaced a 2K jack with a 5K of the same make. It’s mounted on a 1815 bushhog and the 2K jack was just not enough jack to lift it.

by:

This jack showed up faster than expected, fit right on my already welded pipe tube and lifted the trailer with little effort. IT is much nicer than the one it replaced.

by:

Just like the original.
Smooth operation
and weight of trailer is lifted easily.
Only thing missing is a grease port to grease internal gears.

by:

Great to do business with etrailer very satisfied with product fast delivery

by:

Great replacement jack, very heave duty, after a year of use still working perfectly

Thank you etrailer

by:

These Bulldog jacks are perfect for my trailer. Very well built.

etrailer always delivers quickly and makes it a good experience.

by:

These jacks are built tough. Surprised by their weight. They will be welded on the back of a flatbed trailer used to haul light farm equipment. We will take the trailer to town soon to have the welding shop work on it.

by:

Nice jack. We sell lots of these bulldog jacks. They're very reliable.

I have a solution for you, but the Bulldog Round, Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack - Sidewind - 15" Lift - 5,000 lbs # BD178203 is not compatible with the Fastway Flip Foot # FA88-00-4500 since the leg and inner tube are a single piece. • Trailer Jack Pipe Mount Upgrade From 3,000 lb Bulldog Swivel Jack
Thank you for the pictures and info! Since you had a Bulldog winch I recommend sticking with that brand because they are reliable and you can be confident that the pipe mount will match up exactly. To upgrade from a 3K we have the 5K # BD178203 or 7K # BD198250 depending on how much extra capacity you'd like. They both have a 15" lift and they are backed by a limited 5-year warranty so either one will fit your needs just fine.

  • Is 5,000 lb Bulldog Topwind Jack Stronger or Easier to Use than Bulldog Sidewind Jack
The sidewind and top wind 5,000 lb Bulldog pipe-mounted trailer jacks you asked about have the steel construction with a zinc-plated inner tube and 5,000 lb capacity, so they are equal in strength. We also have a similar version by Pro Series. They also have the same ease in regard to cranking, though this can be based on personal preference. Some people would rather crank vertically (sidewind) as opposed to horizontally (topwind) and clearance is also another consideration if there's...

I spoke with my contact at Pro Series about the Swivel Jack, # PS1401440303. He stated that the mount will fit on a 2 inch diameter pipe on the trailer. The pin is a 5/8 diameter pin. It does also come with a pipe of its own that you can weld to the trailer should you need to. The mount diameter is the same for Bulldog Round, Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack, # BD178203.

  • How To Fix Topwind Jack From Hitting Toolbox On Trailer Frame
The best option we have to give you clearance for the handle would be a side wind jack, the Bulldog Round, Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack part # BD178203 which I can't imagine would hit the toolbox. That said, this would really be the only option as there isn't another choice aside from topwind and sidewind.

  • Can I Exchange my A-frame Trailer Jack for a Side Mount Jack so Tailgate Can Be Lowered?
I can certainly understand how you would like to lower your truck tailgate while hitched to a trailer. Yes, you can switch from an A-frame jack to the Bulldog # BD178203 side mounted swivel jack. You will need to weld on the pipe mount of course. With your current jack, adjust the jack height until the trailer is level, then measure from the top of the coupler to the ground. From that measurement add 4" and that is the height you need. If 15" is long enough, then the BD178203 is good...

  • Recommended Trailer Jack To Clear Tailgate With A-Frame Trailer
I do have an option for you but the tongue jack only needs to be rated for the tongue weight of your trailer which will only be around 10-15% of its loaded weight. Therefore, you are likely only going to need around a 700-1,000 lb weight capacity. The higher rated you go, the better off you will be but an 8,000 lb option would be far too much. In order to clear your tailgate while the trailer is attached you are likely going to need a side mount, swivel option. I recommend the Bulldog Round...
