What Type Of Trailer Jack Will Fit a Trailer With a 8" Tall Frame?
Question:
Can you recommend a bolt-on trailer jack that will bolt to an 8 high trailer beam? I can find jacks for 5 and 6 inch beams but not 8 inch. The distance from the bottom of the trailer frame to the ground is 15 inches. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
Typically trailers with an 8" tall frame will have mounting for a A-Frame type Jack # 3370091265. This is mainly because jacks like the # ARK57FR can only fit up to a 6" tall frame. You do an option to add a Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack # BD178203 by either welding the pipe mount to the frame or creating a bolt on bracket you will be able to attach to the side of the frame with the included pipe. This jack has 15" of total lift with a height of 15-3/8" from the mounting bracket to the bottom of the jack when rotated into the lifting position.
