What is the Difference Between Bulldog and Pro Series Pipe-Mount Swivel Jacks
Question:
What is the difference between the Bulldog Pro Series and the regular Bulldog jacks? I am trying to figure which jack would fit me better-the 178203 or the PS1401440303. What are the differences between these 2 jacks? Thanks,

The differences between the two jacks is minimal. The main feature difference is that the Bulldog # BD178203 has the ASABE (American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers) compliancy certification whereas the ProSeries # PS1401440303 does not. Bulldog uses this compliancy certification to test durability and longevity whereas the Pro Series jacks do not use this process.
The other main difference is the Bulldog has a 5 year warranty and the ProSeries has a 1 year warranty.
The technical specs are virtually the same. The only differences are the retracted and extended heights which differentiate by 1/8 inch and the clearance from the mounting bracket to the top of the jack also is different by 1/8 inch.
At the end of the day, if you are someone who uses a jack occasionally then the ProSeries would be the way to go. If you are someone who uses a jack on a regular basis and are hard on tools, then the Bulldog with the 5 year warranty is the better way to go.
Bulldog and ProSeries are owned by the same parent company but operate and manufacture separately.
