Ball Mount Recommendation for a 2009 Subaru Tribeca Towing a Casita Trailer with Sway Control
Question:
We have a 2009 Subaru Tribeca with a class III hitch. We are pulling a new Casita. The trailer has a sway stabilizer which requires a second small ball on the hitch shank. Do you make a ball mount that will accommodate both? Thanks,

I believe what you have is friction style sway control. All you will need is a Reese Sway-Control Bracket, # RP26003. This will fit on 2 inch ball mounts. Or, for 1-1/4 inch ball mounts, use # RP26005.
If your 2009 Subaru Tribeca has a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver, the recommended ball mount is # AMSC2. If it has a 1-1/4 inch receiver, the recommended ball mount is # C45521. I have included a link to our ball mount FAQ article for you to view.
