Towing Capacity of 2014 Dodge Charger V6
Question:
Does anyone know what the potential tow capacity is for a Dodge Charger se 2014 v6? I saw the specs for the hitch but wondering if customers said how heavy the trailers they pulled with it. Thank you

According to the owner's manual, the 2014 Dodge Charger has a 1000 lb towing capacity, regardless of the engine it's equipped with.
For a hitch, I'd recommend the Curt Class III, part # C13093. You won't be able to take full advantage of the capacity of the hitch itself, but I would still recommend going with the more popular 2 inch receiver provided by a Class III hitch because there's a much larger selection of hitch mounted accessories available for a Class III hitch.
To tow with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like part # 118560, a ball mount like # 2793 and a # PC3 hitch pin. For a trailer ball, use # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch.
I've linked to install videos for the hitch and the trailer wiring harness.
