Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the Buyers Products Hook and Keeper for your enclosed trailers. These are going to mount onto the body of your trailer and onto the trailer door or window. They're going to interconnect like so, so that your door or window will stay open. This is going to be a very solid connection as you can see. You'll have to bring the door or window closer in to get that latch raised up, so that they will come apart again.Both of these components are made of stainless steel, so they're going to hold up very well for you.
Give you a few measurements, our arm length is right about six inches. Both of these brackets are the same size, so I'll just give you the measurements of one of them. Going to have a total of length of right about three inches, total width of, we'll call it an inch and three quarters.This is going to be a great product to help you not have to worry about keeping that door open, using an extra set of hands or anything while you're loading or unloading your trailer. You'll be able to trust that your door will stay open and no gusts of wind will be able to catch it and fling it shut, cause personal injury or anything like that. It's a very simple device, but it will come in handy I'm sure.

Hook and keeper holds doors and windows open on your enclosed trailer.The product is functional and looks good. The angle was off so I had to adjust the hook slot to get it to fit. The photo shows a 70-60° angle and it’s actually a 90°. It did not come with screws.
I am using them on my shed doors. They are working great.
Bought a Hook and Keeper for my trailer door - Stainless Steel - 6" Hook. It was a breeze to install and it is still great. I painted it white but that's just me.
Works great, used them on a Class B truck. The 6" length is great for our shred trucks where the sidewalls bulge out when full so this gives us the clearance to safely hold the doors open as we unload.
The stainless steel post doesn’t fit into the sleeve portion. It is a very hard fit. If it doesn’t sit perfect on the door and trailer it is a waste of money. I should have bought the more expensive ones!!!
Excellent product and purchasing experience. I was advised of the receipt of order, then advised of the item being shipped and I was also advised just a few hours after it arrived that it had been delivered. Good company to deal with and they seem to handle quality stuff. I would buy there again when I need a product that they sell.
