Blue Ox Adjustable Ball Mount with Pintle Hook for 2-1/2" Hitch - 8-3/4" Drop - 20K

I received my Blue Ox adjustable ball mount with pintle hook for 2.5" hitch, 8.75" drop, 20k lb rated, yesterday. Packaging was great. Shipping took longer, as they held the order until one other item in the shipment was back in stock. I didn't realize I could have them send me the in-stock items right away, but I did that when I was exploring my order page and happened to click on the "manage my order" link.

I'm VERY happy with the pintle- its finish looks solid and the whole package is what I expected it to be. The only issue I can find is the anti-rattle screw is too short to touch the back of the pintle before it bottoms out- at least in the position height in which ill be using it (the three threaded hole options dont help, either) . Not a huge deal, as I could just go buy a longer hex bolt, but for almost $350, it should come with a long enough screw. This would be a Blue Ox issue, but it should be noted in the item description until it's rectified by the supplier, or etrailer throws a proper length screw in the package.

It came with a hex wrench for the anti-rattle screw (awesome), AND a hitch pin for the receiver, so I didn't have to buy one of those, which is nice.

Overall, I'm very happy with the item and customer service. I've purchased other items from etrailer, and they don't disappoint. I'll definitely buy again from these fine folks.

The pindle had to be ground to fit so you can put the safety pin in. Did not expect this for the price of the part.1759521
