Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Valterra Waste Valve Bodies with the 72 inch long flexible cables for your RV black water and gray water tanks. Now, these are replacement valves for your RV's black water and gray water tank. You can see this smaller one is a 1 1/2 inch diameter opening, and the larger one is the three inch diameter opening. Both of those will allow your waste water to travel freely when the valve is open, and then when you don't need it open, you just turn your handle, and that'll close the valve. Now, this part will include everything laid out here on the table, it includes the three inch valve body with the seals and the hardware to install it, comes with the 1 1/2 inch valve body with, again, the seals and the hardware, comes with two of the 72 inch long flexible cables, and then it comes with two of the aluminum mounting brackets with the hardware for installation.
Now the cables, these are 72 inches long, they are flexible, so they'll let you install this valve handle where you want them. The cable will allow the handle to be converted from a hard to access location to just a simple push and pull placement like the control access compartment of your RV. The inner wire on this cable is stainless steel construction. Now, they do also offer these included aluminum mounting brackets, which will allow you to mount the handles to an RV side wall if need be, if there's no room in your access compartment, and I just wanna pop up an insert and show you. You would attach the handle right there if you look at the insert, shows the handle attached, and then that can be attached to the side wall on your RV, and then you can operate the valve from that position.
I wanna give you some dimensions on this. We're gonna go over the first one, the small valve, which is this one right here, the dimension on that, the length of it is gonna be right at 10 1/4 inches, width of it is 3 1/4 inches, and the depth at the widest point is 1 1/2 inches. Now, if we go to the larger three inch one, we will get the tape measure out for that one. That one you're gonna be looking at total length of about 14 1/2 inches, the width on it, about 4 3/8 inches, and the depth will be the same at the widest point, 1 1/2 inches. But that should do it for the review on the Valterra Waste Valve Bodies with the 72 inch long flexible cables for the RV black water and gray water tanks..

I have been happy with etrailer and continue to use them for RV needs.
I just finished replacing my black and grey tank drain valves which were happened to also be Valterra valves. The valves themselves are fine and were a direct replacement for my OEM valves. The job itself is extremely challenging as the trailer manufacturers made access to these valves difficult at best. Add to this the fact that you are working on the black tank. No matter how well you flush that tank (and I was meticulous about it), its still a nasty job. Getting the valves in place with the seals properly in their seats while laying on my back under the trailer with raw sewage dripping on my face made me wish I could could get my hands around the throat of the guy who designed the location of this valve! Nevertheless despite this near impossible feat I did get both valves installed and they work great and I hope I never have to do this again. By the way Etrailer was great quick delivery and every nut and bolt I needed was there so they get a gold star and the Heartland engineer gets a big F !
Great product good quality , instructions were straight forward. I only wished that Heartland installers and quality control would have read them ! they completely did it wrong just installed the entire cable without support? You need to cut them to length and secure the cable. they work much easier than before when done right.

Great replacements for the oem
The valves work perfectly. Installation was a challenge, but that was due to the location of the valves on my trailer, not the valves themselves. Since I installed the valves, I have zero leakage. The cables operate smoothly. Excellent product.
I always feel that when I order from E-Trailer my order is what I see on line and the speedy shipping especially this past order. I needed the dump valves before I left to go on my next trip and within 2 days I had them .Thanks keep up the good customer relations.

The waste valves came just as pictured. There are directions in the package to cut the cable to the exact length needed. It was easy to do. All seals provided but I was missing one screw. I was able to use my old one because they are stainless steel and hold up perfectly. Hope to never have to replace these again but would order again if needed.

exactly what I needed and very simple to install.i haven't used the toilet or sink yet but no leakage when I filled with rv anti freeze.
