Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Bristol Waste Valve for RV gray water tanks. This unit adds or replaces a valve for your RV's gray water tank. It's made from a durable ABS plastic construction. It features the inch and a half diameter passage, which allows waste water to travel freely when the valve is open.The valve easily opens and closes with a T handle that's attached to a metal shaft, so you can see there how we can see that we have complete closure. Very easy to open and close the valve. The unit does feature the appropriate seals to ensure leak-proof performance.On this side, we have the inch and a half hub that slides onto a sewer pipe, so the inner diameter there, inside edge to inside edge is about 1 7/8 to 1 15/16 of an inch.
Then on this end, we have the inch and a half spigot that slides into a sewer pipe. The outer diameter there is, again, about 1 7/8 to 1 15/16 of an inch in diameter.You will need ABS solvent cement. That is required for installation and sold separately. You can find that at etrailer.com. The item I ordered is exactly the gray tank waste valve that I needed. This product has a generous flange on each side to facilitate connecting the part to the pipe coming from the grey tank & the pipe going to the dump connection. For anyone needing to repair a break in the grey tank pipe between the tank and the waste gate...the flange on the tank side tanks a 2” abs pipe. Txs
I had to replace the factory parts on my Grand Design because they never worked correctly. I had them “fixed under warranty several times only to be disappointed again and again. The Bristol valves have worked without a hitch. As a full time RV’er that is important. I wish the rest of the RV worked as well as the replacement dump valves.

The product was exactly what they said it was and was a direct replacement for the existing valve. The cost of shipping was the only reason I gave this a 4 star... shipping was close to 25% the cost of the product and that was for ground shipping not expected.
The product is great, installation took about 15 minutes to replace, our camper is brand new! But the valve will not close. I’m not waiting a month to have it fixed by the dealer. The shipping was a day late, not etrailers fault.
valve is still working no leads one year after installation.

This was the only waste gate product with a generous flange...this made it possible to connect from what was left of the grey tank drain pipeafter it froze & cracked from the previous owner to the dump valve. Otherwise...would have needed to replace the entire grey tank. Wound up using a piece of vacuum cleaner hose to complete the repair. Hasn’t leaked a ..Txs
