Pull Cable for Easy Dumping

This cable-actuated RV waste tank valve has a 60" long cable, allowing you to easily open and close the valve even when it is positioned in a hard-to-reach location. Simply install the valve between your RV's sewer pipes and mount the handle on the end of the cable in a convenient, easy-to-access place.

Pulling Valve Cable and Gray Handle

When you're ready to dump your gray-water tank, just pull the handle to open the valve. And when you're finished dumping, just push the handle back in to close the valve. No need to crawl under your RV to access the valve itself.

Replacing Your RV Waste Valve

Before getting started on the installation, you'll want to empty your gray-water tank, then flush out the sewer pipes. This will help to ensure that your working environment is as clean as possible.

This waste valve is designed to replace your existing valve, which should have a hub end and a spigot end. After removing the old valve and flanges, lightly coat the outside of the new valve's spigot and the inside of its hub with ABS solvent cement (sold separately). Do the same with the open ends of your RV's sewer pipe. Then, insert the smaller spigot end of the valve into your 1-1/2" pipe, and slide the larger hub end over the pipe on the opposite side.

I ordered this valve to replace a 2016 grey tank valve on a coachmen Concord. I will admit that I was nervous that it wouldn't fit like the old valve. It removed the inner valve and left the pvc in place. It WORKED!
Very easy to replace. etrailer parts are spot on and the shipping was only 4 days. I ordered a second valve for my other grey tank.
Thanks etrailer!!

I have a small leak pass the valve now. Unsure if I induced this or the valve seal is not sealing.

It is a bummer to hear that it is leaking. If it is leaking at the seal then the only recommendation that I have is to replace the unit and be sure to use an ABS Solvent Cement part # 3447530889 to install the valve.

by:

Immediate delivery with follow up. I would buy from this vendor again.

by:

Simple, easy and convenient to install...only thing which I would change, if possible, is to make the cable removeable to make it easier to handle untill final installation and also make the leanth adjustable (cuttable - is that a word?) . thanks

by:

Worked well however did not stay on for very long while driving, ended up losing somewhere along I-80 in Indiana.

The sewer valves hub end will slip over and compression fit on the existing sewer pipe, but ABS cement such as # 3447530889 should be used to fuse the valve onto the sewer pipe, otherwise it will eventually loosen and fall off.

by:

Was the right size and easy to install, the old valve was leaking and this took care of it.

Nice product.

See what our Experts say about this LaSalle Bristol RV Waste Valves

  • Waste Valve Will Not Open With Cable Pull
The cable is normally attached to the valve using a set screw inside the housing. You would want to pry the housing open and see if the cable has come unhooked if you have the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Gray Water Tank part # 34466N11AB60GM. There is not replacement cable available for the Lasalle Bristol so you would most likely need to replace the whole unit. If you have the Valterra brand like part # TC172 you can replace the cable with part # TC72PB.

  • Replacement Cable-Actuated Waste Valves For A 2016 Winnebago Destination 37FL 5th Wheel
There unfortunately isn't a guide that tells us the length of the cables that were used in your Winnebago so you would have to trace the cables to determine the correct length needed. From Valterra we only have the 72" length, which you were already looking at with part # TC1372. With LaSalle Bristol we have a few different sizes so that you can get exactly what you need: Black 36" # 34466N4AB36GM 48" # 34466N4AB48GMA 72" # 34466N4AB72GMA 96" # 34466N4BB96GM 120" # 34466N4AB120GM Gray 36"...

If your valve is operated by a threaded rod and is a LaSalle Bristol model, the # 34466IHANDLEGRY you'd looked at would work well. If you can get the...

  • Replacement Cable-Actuated Waste Valve Options For A 2012 Keystone Montana
I don't know the length of the cable used for valves on your Montana so you'll want to measure the length to determine the correct replacement. To make the swap out easy I recommend just unbolting the old valve from the system and then swap in the new valve (without the flanges it comes with). This will make it a much faster swap out and prevent you from having to cut or glue any pipes. I've listed the sizes we currently offer below by cable length: Black 36" # 34466N4AB36GM 48" # 34466N4AB48GMA 72"...

Determining the correct replacement for your old waste valves is going to depend on the brand and length of your current cables. If you have Valterra branded valves you could reuse the cables you have and avoid rerouting new cables. You could simply pick the least costly option for the black # TC372 and gray # TC172 valves and just hang onto the new cables.
