Pull Cable for Easy Dumping

This cable-actuated RV waste tank valve has a 96" long cable, allowing you to easily open and close the valve even when it is positioned in a hard-to-reach location. Simply install the valve between your RV's sewer pipes and mount the handle on the end of the cable in a convenient, easy-to-access place.

Pulling Valve Cable and Gray Handle

When you're ready to dump your gray-water tank, just pull the handle to open the valve. And when you're finished dumping, just push the handle back in to close the valve. No need to crawl under your RV to access the valve itself.

Replacing Your RV Waste Valve

Before getting started on the installation, you'll want to empty your gray-water tank, then flush out the sewer pipes. This will help to ensure that your working environment is as clean as possible.

This waste valve is designed to replace your existing valve, which should have a hub end and a spigot end. After removing the old valve and flanges, lightly coat the outside of the new valve's spigot and the inside of its hub with ABS solvent cement (sold separately). Do the same with the open ends of your RV's sewer pipe. Then, insert the smaller spigot end of the valve into your 1-1/2" pipe, and slide the larger hub end over the pipe on the opposite side.

I paid extra for shipping to get my order faster but there was a glitch with Etrailer and UPS. Etrailer did not include my lot number and UPS will not deliver.
I had to call UPS and then travel to the shipping access point. Not that big a deal but a hassle. I will still buy from Etrailer because the parts are correct and customer service is great.

by:

Very satisfied! Due to a USPS error we never received our original order. We made eTrailer aware of the situation and they sent us a replacement without any hassle. The part worked perfect in our RV. Communication was great! Thanks!

See what our Experts say about this LaSalle Bristol RV Waste Valves

  • Can Valterra Replacement Cable be Used with Lasalle Bristol RV Waste Valve
I don't see why a replacement Valterra Cable like part # TC72PB wouldn't work as a replacement for your Lasalle Bristol valve but officially it hasn't been tested so we can't say with total certainty. We've asked Valterra this in the past and this is what they told us.

  • Replacement Cable-Actuated Waste Valves For A 2016 Winnebago Destination 37FL 5th Wheel
There unfortunately isn't a guide that tells us the length of the cables that were used in your Winnebago so you would have to trace the cables to determine the correct length needed. From Valterra we only have the 72" length, which you were already looking at with part # TC1372. With LaSalle Bristol we have a few different sizes so that you can get exactly what you need: Black 36" # 34466N4AB36GM 48" # 34466N4AB48GMA 72" # 34466N4AB72GMA 96" # 34466N4BB96GM 120" # 34466N4AB120GM Gray 36"...

Remove the locknut from the cable housing assembly of the # 34466N11AB96GMA. Feed the cable through the mounting bracket or hold in the wall of chassis. Feed the locknut back over the cable and fasten securely to the backside of the bracket or wall. With the red tab in place, insert the cable housing into the collar entry hole and the wire into the coupler. Tighten allen set screw in the coupler and collar screws in the collar. Secure the cable every 18" to 24" using a zip tie or paperclip....

  • Replacement Handle for Gray Water Dump Valve
If your gray water dump valve is a cable operated LaSalle Bristol # 34466N11AB36GM, # 34466N11AB48GMA, # 34466N11AB60GM, # 34466N11AB72GMA, # 34466N11AB96GMA, or # 34466N4AB96GMA, the correct replacement handle would be part # 34490CMA1G, which is the only replacement gray water tank dump valve handle for a cable operated valve we offer. If your valve is operated by a threaded rod and is a LaSalle Bristol model, the # 34466IHANDLEGRY you'd looked at would work well. If you can get the...

  • Replacement Waste Valves And Cables For Black And Gray Tanks On A 2019 Jayco North Point 387RDFS

  • Can Gate Valves Be Unbolted And Removed For Replacement
The gate valve # 34466N11AB96GMA should come apart without cutting the pipe once the bolts are removed. I can se that the flange is completely loose so the gasket must have gotten too hot and melted to both sides of the pipe fittings. You should be able to just pull hard on the gate valve to break it free and remove it to get the new valve in place.

  • Recommended Replacement For A Broken LaSalle Bristol Cable Actuated Waste Valve
LaSalle Bristol doesn't make it so that you can replace much on their cable actuated waste valves besides just the handle so you would be better off just replacing the entire valve and cable system with Valterra's Black # TC372 and Gray # TC172. The old valves can just be unbolted and replaced with the new Valterra valves so that you don't have to cut any pipe or glue anything in. Valterra's cable system has a little rod at the end that clamps into an exposed port on the valve to easily...

  • Replacing Valve Cable on LaSalle Bristol RV Waste Valve # 34466N11AB96GMA
The cable is a fixed length and does not allow for tightening. It is recommended that you use a gentle u-shape, s-shape or gentle 90* bend in the cable and secure it every so often with cable ties part # DW05727-25 to take up the slack that you might have remaining in the cable.

  • Adapter for 3 RV Gray Water Tank Opening to 1-1/2 Pipe and Waste Valve
From what I can gather it sounds to me like you need the Valterra Eccentric Tank Reducer - RV Gray Water - 3" Spigot to 1-1/2" Hub # T1041-1. The 3" Spigot mounts directly in the gray water tank outlet while the 1-1/2" Hub slides over sewer pipe. Then for a 1-1/2" diameter gray-water sewer pipe we have the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Gray Water Tank. This is valve is available in with cables that are numerous lengths, which I'll list for you so you can choose the...

  • Black & Grey Tank Valve Recommendations
It can certainly be frustrating when the valves don't open and close correctly. Both Valterra and Bristol make excellent products, but even if the diameter sizes are the same, they aren't completely interchangeable. It is best to stick with the original equipment, in your case being Lasalle Bristol. You are correct that the square flanges and bolt fittings will be the same as your original valve cartridges. For the 1.5" ones you need I recommend the # 34466N11AB96GMA and for the 3" one...

  • Replacement Cable-Actuated Waste Valve Options For A 2012 Keystone Montana
I don't know the length of the cable used for valves on your Montana so you'll want to measure the length to determine the correct replacement. To make the swap out easy I recommend just unbolting the old valve from the system and then swap in the new valve (without the flanges it comes with). This will make it a much faster swap out and prevent you from having to cut or glue any pipes. I've listed the sizes we currently offer below by cable length: Black 36" # 34466N4AB36GM 48" # 34466N4AB48GMA 72"...

  • Replacement Cable Actuated Waste Valve Options For A 2011 Keystone Montana High Country 5th Wheel
Determining the correct replacement for your old waste valves is going to depend on the brand and length of your current cables. If you have Valterra branded valves you could reuse the cables you have and avoid rerouting new cables. You could simply pick the least costly option for the black # TC372 and gray # TC172 valves and just hang onto the new cables. You can remove the four bolts holding your old valves in place and then swap in the new valves so you can void having to cut or glue...

  • Can Cable on LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve be Shortened
You can definitely cut and reattach the handle on the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve # 34466N11AB96GMA, but since this has a 96" cable and you just need 24" I recommend going with part # 34466N11AB36GM instead which is the exact same part just with a 36" cable.
