Pull Cable for Easy Dumping

This cable-actuated RV waste tank valve has a 96" long cable, allowing you to easily open and close the valve even when it is positioned in a hard-to-reach location. Simply install the valve between your RV's sewer pipes and mount the handle on the end of the cable in a convenient, easy-to-access place.

Pulling Valve Cable and Black Handle

When you're ready to dump your black-water tank, just pull the handle to open the valve. And when you're finished dumping, just push the handle back in to close the valve. No need to crawl under your RV to access the valve itself.

Replacing Your RV Waste Valve

Before getting started on the installation, you'll want to empty your RV's black-water tank and flush out the sewer pipes. This will help to ensure that your working environment is as clean as possible.

This waste valve is designed to replace your existing valve, which should have a hub end and a spigot end. After removing the old valve and flanges, lightly coat the outside of the new valve's spigot and the inside of its hub with ABS solvent cement (sold separately). Do the same with the open ends of your RV's sewer pipe. Then, insert the smaller spigot end of the valve into your 3" pipe, and slide the larger hub end over the pipe on the opposite side.

The etrailer service tech was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, making the purchase process easier for me. I have made many purchases with etrailer without any problems. Keep up the good work.

Valve and cable are great. Install was tough because of poor design of the valve location. Very tight space.

ETrailer is my one stop, go to supplier for all things trailer related, towing related, boat, and RV. I especially love their video tutorials, part descriptions and customer reviews. I never have any doubt that the part I order wiil fit because they provide all the necessary information in an easy online format. This time it was a cable dump valve for my 5th wheel. Perfect fit!

The valve has been trouble free!

by:

This is the required valve for my '12 Prime Time Sanibel. Valtera won't fit. This is the 3rd valve I've had installed in 10 years of full time use (so 4 total counting the original). The valves don't go bad but the cables get sticky-especially on the coast with the salt air. I paid a RV repair place to change it out ($XX) because I'm old and lets face it, it's a crappy job!

by:

Staff was amazing my RV parts arrived 2 days earlier then website predicted have them on speed dial 5 stars all the way

Its not it broke three weeks after i installed it

by:

I haven't too much to say at this point in time; however, after having my black tank gate valve replaced by a "reputable RV service" 3 times and it still was leaking; I decided to venture into the job myself and I am definitely pleased to say that the valve is no longer leaking. And the job was not as difficult as I had thought. RVing is now fun again.

by:

Exact replacement.

by:

Direct replacement. Used only the valve itself, not the pipe ends. Needed fast and paid extra for 2 day delivery. etrailer comes through for me once again.

by:

This valve is excellent. Original one had been installed from the factory with sharp bends near both ends causing difficult operation. Problem solved.

by:

Easy order process and on-time delivery.

by:

Arrived in good condition despite box being damaged in transit. Installed and working well.

  • Is There a Specific Length of Cable Needed For Spigot to Hub Black Water Valve
There actually isn't any way for us to know what length of cable you need when replacing the black water valve on your 2018 Montana Legacy 3130RE so you would need to either take some measurements or make an educated guess. The good news is there are plenty of options for length: - LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Black Water Tank - Spigot to Hub - 36" Cable # 34466N4AB36GM - 48" Cable # 34466N4AB48GMA - 72" Cable # 34466N4AB72GMA - 96" Cable # 34466N4AB96GMA - 120" Cable...

  • Replacement 3 Inch RV Waste Valve Alternative For Black Water Tank
Yes, the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Black Water Tank # 34466N4AB96GMA will work with your 24 CSA Z240.3.2 setup as this waste valve is compatible with 3" diameter black-water sewer pipe. If you're referring to replacing your 24 CSA Z240.3.2 waste valve, I recommend going with the: -Valterra Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank # T50A instead. This is virtually the same waste valve as your 24 CSA Z240.3.2, but does not have the 96" long pull cable that # 34466N4AB96GMA...

  • Troubleshooting a Stuck LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Black Water Tank
You can try removing the screw, but I don't believe that's the issue. It sounds like your cable might be broken or the actual valve has just locked up or "frozen". There is currently not a replacement cable available for the LaSalle Bristol Waste Valves. You may be able to spray it down with some lubricating grease or even a cooking spray like Pam to try to see if that might allow it to loosen itself up. If there are 4 screws holding the front hub onto the valve as you can see in the...

  • Installation of Bristol Waste Valve Extension Rod
The Extension Rod for LaSalle Bristol Waste Valve - 6" Long # 34466SP1106 will thread onto the cable rod on your LaSalle Bristol Cable Actuated Waste Valve like the # 34466N4AB96GMA. The extension rod has MPT threads to fit onto the valve handle and the FPT end threads onto the blade rod inside the cable. We don't have a video of this installation as of yet, but it will be a fairly straightforward process.

  • Are the Valves Inside the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valves All the Same
Yes, the actual valve is the same for all of the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valves whether they have a spigot to spigot connection like part # 34466N4BB96GM or spigot to hub connection part # 34466N4AB96GMA. That said, you need to pay attention to the actual valve size as there is options for both 1-1/2" (Gray Water) and 3" (Black Water). The spigot and hub adapters can simply be tossed if you only need the actual valve. The mounting bolt pattern is an industry standard so...

There is not a way to replace the black water line on the LaSalle Bristol Cable-Actuated RV Waste Valve for Black Water Tank # 34466N4AB96GMA, unfortunately. I would probably disconnect the cable from the camper so it lays out on the ground under the trailer to ensure that there are no kinks or nicks in the cable. • Replacement Cable Actuated Waste Valve Options For A 2011 Keystone Montana High Country 5th Wheel
Determining the correct replacement for your old waste valves is going to depend on the brand and length of your current cables. If you have Valterra branded valves you could reuse the cables you have and avoid rerouting new cables. You could simply pick the least costly option for the black # TC372 and gray # TC172 valves and just hang onto the new cables. • How to Remove RV Sewer Pipes From Cable Actuated Waste Valve?
In order to install a new Cable Actuator RV Waste Valve # 34466N4AB96GMA, you're likely going to need to cut off the pipes at the spigot and hub in order to install the new waste valve. It's more than likely that ABS sealant was used to weld the pipes to the connections; you can try using concentrated heat (350 degrees Fahrenheit) or acetone, but it's unlikely that those are going to loosen the pipes enough to pull them out of the connections. During this process you may need to replace...
