Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a Bristol Waste Valve for RV black water tanks. This unit adds or replaces a valve for your RV's black water tank. It's made from a durable ABS plastic construction. It features a three-inch diameter passage, which allows wastewater to travel freely when the valve is open.The valve easily opens and closes with the V handle, which is attached to a metal shaft. The V handle has the angled design, which allows for an easier, more comfortable grip when using the handle. You can see how that opens and closes the valve.Now, on this end, we have the three-inch hub.
This slides onto a sewer pipe, so the inner diameter of that is about three-and-a-half inches. ABS solvent cement is required for installation and sold separately. You can find it at etrailer.com.On this end, we have the three-inch lug fitting, which allows you to connect to a bayonet fitting on a sewer hose. It does come with the bayonet style cap to cover the lug fitting when nothing's connected or when this end isn't in use. It also has the integrated strap that keeps the cap connected to the valve.The product's also made in the USA.

I needed to replace the sewer valve on our camper because the old one leaked & the handle broke. This was the correct size and the handle is actually larger than the OEM part so should hold up better.

Your service is great but the thing I was moody pleased with is that when I looked at it, it said"Made in America"! I was very happy to see that. I'm sick of seeing " made in China" on almost everything I purchase.

I had to replace the factory parts on my Grand Design because they never worked correctly. I had them “fixed under warranty several times only to be disappointed again and again. The Bristol valves have worked without a hitch. As a full time RV’er that is important. I wish the rest of the RV worked as well as the replacement dump valves.

- Can Handle of Lasalle Bristol Valve be Extended for Easier AccessLaSalle Bristol valves like the # 34466N5A have extension rods you can install on them like with the part # 34466SP116734 which is 67-3/4 inches long or part # 34466SP1136 which is 36 inches long. There isn't a cable kit that would fit this valve though.
view full answer... - Replacing Gate Valves On A 2017 Little Guy T@B M@X S Travel Trailer Most of the time you can easily just replace the gate valve and save a bit of money but if you're wanting to just swap it all out then you'll most likely need to do a bit of modification. The gate valves can be unbolted whereas the hubs are glued into place so you'll have to find a good spot to cut them off and then determine what components to use based on the what you have. Most of the time it's much easier to use a hub fitting instead of a spigot since it can just slip over the pipe...

The valve is still working great. We love in the camper in Alaska and it made it thru the winter being opened & closed once a week. No problems at all.
