Today we're going to be taking a look at the Valterra spigot and hub RV waste valve. This is an inch and a half waste valve. It's designed for inch and a half plumbing systems. It's going to allow you to add replace, repair, or upgrade to a new valve. It's going to feature internal seals that's going to provide leak proof performance. It's got this stainless steel shaft on the unit.
It's very strong and durable as well as corrosion resistant. This unit does not come with a handle. Handles are sold separately. To check out some options you can look at what we have here at etrailer.com, we do offer some handles that would go with this unit. The handle would simply thread onto the shaft. A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick.
The length of the unit, with it in a closed position, measuring from edge to edge, measuring to the top of the shaft right here it's going to be about six and a quarter inches. If you extend that out, take another measurement, we're looking at about, eight and half inches long. Really nice easy to use design. Again, the internal seals are going to offer leak proof performance. We have the smaller end right here.
If we take an outer diameter measurement of that, that's going to give us a measurement, outer diameter on the small side, that looks to be right around 1 and seven-eighths of an inch. Inner diameter, is going to measure one and nine-sixteenths of an inch. On the large end, outer diameter is two and three-eighths, inner diameter is one and seven-eighths. That's going to do it for today's look at the Valterra spigot and hub RV waste valve.
