Vents work great for the year that I have had them. I got the aluminum version to reduce any chance of rusting. I just painted the vents and they were just fine. Been going solid for a while now. The vents are a bit flimsy for the mechanism but I just baby it and it has been fine.

by:

Nice product. Received this morning, installed by 2PM. Painted it to match the color of my truck. Easy to install; used the garnish as a template. Fixed the vent with stainless screws and the garnish with finishing screws. Had to trim down the garnish height by 3/4 inch which was easy. The vent is to be used either as a snorkel to get positive air pressure in truck cap, keeping road dust away, or as a normal vent.

I am a very Happy customer of etrailer.com. As you can see, by photo here, the vents work perfectly for me. Customer service Lady Allison K. was very courteous, kind and helpful. Thank you all @ etrailer.com.

by:

Added these vents for better ventilation in a cook trailer. They work well.

This is my second vent of this type. Order arrived within a few days. Good quality at a fair price. Both units have been installed in the side walls of a flat roofed cargo trailer (to prevent roof leaks and has turned out to be a good decision). I would definitely recommend the unit. A bit difficult for a small person to operate and would have rated it at five stars if the operating mechanism was a bit easier to operate.

Sounds like you havent had any issues with water leaks when closed. Still good? Im also planning on installing this on the wall horizontally. Thanks

Perfectly!

The order was received earlier than anticipated (typical for all orders from etrailer) and has been installed. The vent works well and I am anticipating ordering a second unit. Thanks for the quick service.

Thus far there have not been ANY leaks on either of the two vents. The vents are designed so water cannot migrate beyond the seal edge.

The two vent units I installed approximately 1 year ago have been working perfectly. I love them. There have been zero leaks around the seals. I would definitely recommend the vents for anyone. A good value for the money and very easy to install.

2006 sprinter high roof the rear ac is not working. I wanted some airflow in the rear. so I put the vents top side rear by the old AC venting. I can not reach vent handle inside. All done vent opening outside. It works. The one thing I wasn’t sure if the gasket would completely seal it so I put some sealant on both sides of the gasket and then installed

by:

Great product, service and fast delivery. I have bought from etrai let before and have always given them 5 stars. I used these on either side of my toyhauler garage to replace degraded plastic vents. I mounted them vertically. They are about 1/2 inch longer and wider than the plastic ones they replaced, but rough opening was wide enough to accommodate the new ones. The fact that they have screens is important to keep bees from entering and building nests in my garage. Also because they open left or right, that is important because I drive my RV with these vents open and the openings must face the back of the RV. Because they are on opposite sides of the RV, one opens right and the other opens left.

by:

The vents are perfect. etrailer.com has been an invaluable resource for me for trailer parts.

Works great. Quality part and durable.

by:

Good quality product. I installed two of these in a small cargo trailer. They are very sturdy and haven't leaked a bit since install.

by:

Super pleased with etrailer - easy ordering and extremely fast delivery! Item is a replacement vent cover for one that can NOT be found anywhere! This one is well made, much sturdier than the original, and will do the trick!

by:

Needed to replace a damaged vent. Ordering was easy and delivery was incredibly fast. It was a breeze to replace and am very happy with the service provided by this company. Would not hesitate to order again should the need arise or highly recommend to anyone in need of this 2 - Way Pop-up Roof Vent.

by:

Vents were good, trim rings were questionable 1 - brittle and 1- not Vents were not packaged with
trim rings. All were packaged well to avoid damage.
Not sure if I would order again, would look for another style.

by:

great little passive vent. put this one on the back roof of nissan nv200. have had open during several rainstorms, not having any issues, well, until it was left open goinjg down the road at 60. so don't forget to close it before you take off in the rain!

by:

Installing 2 of these on an enclosed car trailer, nice to be able to vent the fumes on a hot day after racing, had some on a previous trailer , they work great.

by:

the product is as described. we are going to use it to vent our camper van. We may buy a second one once we see how it works. My only concern was the box it arrived in was crushed at one end. fortunately the product was not damaged but I wasn't sure so I opened the box immediately upon arrival. I haven't installed it yet, just arrived today, so no picture available at this time.

by:

I have a Jamco trailer and contacted the Jamco head office to ask if this product is comparable to what they would install. They said yes! Great service and love the free shipping!

by:

The vent ordered is a very nice and well built and it is now installed on my 5X8 enclosed aluminum trailer. I would recommend your e-store to anyone wanting good service.

by:

After purchasing and installing this item from etrailer, I was very happy with the easy installation, functionality and quality. Definitely would recommend this product for ventilation in any trailer etc.

by:

Install was easy and everything was good when i sold the trailer 6 months ago. They stuck out a little more then i liked but was happy to not have plastic ones anymore

by:

This is just the right size roof vent that I have been looking for. It is a quality product made extremely well. I have not installed it yet but will be soon.

by:

Great product. Works as advertised. I put it on my dog trailer and it makes the air flow into the trailer. Opens and closes easily and looks very sturdy.

by:

I gave it I believe 3 stars. When the item was received the lip of the vent was bent pretty significantly. Its aluminum so can be bent back and not worth shipping it back but for close to $[XX] I was expecting an item that would not require any additional fabrication work prior to instillation.

by:

I REALLY LIKE THIS PRODUCT. I DON'T HAVE IT INSTALLED YET SO I DON'T HAVE
PICTURE INSTALLED.
I WAS IMPRESSED MORE WITH THE WAY I WAS TREATED BY YOUR COMPANY. JANICE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND VERY CONSIDERED ABOUT WHAT I WANTED AND SHIPMENT
WAS VERY PROMPT.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP IT MAKES FOR A PLEASANT DEAL AND I'LL RECOMEND TO OTHER PEOPLE.

  • Recommended Vents For An Enclosed Box Truck hauling Horses
The Vent for Enclosed Trailers - Aluminum - 12-1/4" Wide x 10-1/2" Tall # PLR20 is the largest wall vent we offer so it should offer your horses quite a bit more airflow. The sliding lever allows you to easily open and close the vent to adjust airflow. The aluminum construction is durable, lightweight, and corrosion resistant. Another option you might consider would be to install the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent with Garnish for Enclosed Trailers - Aluminum # RV-626-062-2756 on the...

  • Recommended Trailer Side Vents On Emergency Response Trailer For Increased Ventilation
Yes. Installing the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent with Garnish for Enclosed Trailers - Aluminum # RV-626-062-2756 is a great option for a side mount or roof mount. It will allow air to move and will keep your equipment from issue as long as the gas cans and machinery are in working order and not leaking gas. If everything is functioning as intended, I recommend a vent on each side to have enough ventilation to keep this trailer from being hazardous or a couple of vents on the roof. .

The interior trim garnish is indeed included with the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent, part # RV-626-062-2756. This vent also includes a gasket to help seal the vent and prevent leaks. For installing the vent we also offer either sheet metal screws, part # 31071, or wood screws, part # 30587. If you wish to use a silicone caulk to seal the vent and keep out moisture I recommend part # 0160297.

  • Does the Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent Have Screen and How Tall is Garnish
The Redline 2-Way Pop-Up Roof Vent # RV-626-062-2756 has a screen on the top of it, but it wouldn't keep small bugs out as the holes aren't that small. The garnish is 2 inches thick, but that doesn't mea this can't be installed on a thicker wall if needed. The garnish just wouldn't cover up all of the hole cut out for the vent.
