I used this door latch on my homemade trailer because it looked just like the one on my CJ5. I figured out the reason it looks so much like my Jeep handle is because it IS the same at less than half the price even with a lock. Excelent quality product, excelent customer service, excelent overall experience. I proudly display an etrailer sticker on my little trailer.
Fit my 93’ horse trailer perfectly! Shipped faster than expected and the support from George J when ordering was amazing. He let me know it wasn’t in stock, offered to ship a different one, but shipped the original one in a quick and efficient time.

Stainless steel with the inside ball handle. Very durable. Same size as my existing ones that don't have outside key lock. Others sell same yet without the ball handle inside attached. Thanks etrailer and George J. for good business.

Product was delivered on time and in good shape. Fit and finish of latches is outstanding. Even better than I imagined. Exactly what I was looking for.
I purchased this because I did not have a key to the original one that was on the trailer. Besides, the condition of the old one was getting to the point of replacement anyhow. It was a simple swap out with new replacing old. I Tac welded it on at the four mounting hardware locations and called it good :-). Works great and can't beat stainless.
Love this latch! The one On my trailer door has broken and this was the perfect replacement.

The latch is still working perfect and I use it multiple times a day!
Purchased a trailer with defective internal latch so I order this latch as a replacement. Fit easily in the old opening, rapidly installed and off the road we went. Much easier to deal with when it is just a simple replacement. quality product.
i was very happy with you products i havent got the step on yet but the roof vent went on very eazy and i had to make the door latch fit some custom work but im use to it thank you again

My trailer's new locking door handles are just as I ordered. I plan to install them asap.
Cheaply made and the handle on mine is very loose. It locks installs easily. With the very loose handle and it doesn't open until the handle is pulled very far back it was slightly disappointing.
I tried to get this door latch part directly from CM Trailers, they blew me off completely. But I found it on this site, good description and gave the dementions, made it easy to buy the right thing the first time! Great buying experience!
"Junior" name implies smaller product, which it is not.
Latch spring is very strong, making it difficult to close door without opening latch first.
Functions excellent and is shiny and new!
I like the fact that etrailer put the absolute measurements online and so that customers give distinguish between all the different locks that are available.
Replacement doors latches for my snowmobile trailer fuel doors ,you can open them from the inside,they work great

Thanks for following up on your products via the buyers input. These door handles are still as good as new after a year of installing. Sure they would be good to go 50 years from now.
