Speaker 1: Today, we're taking a look at a replacement lid for the MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents. This unit simply replaces the lid for your old roof vent. It works as a replacement for part number MA00A04301K and MA00-04000K. It attaches the same way as your old lid. You will need to use your existing hardware for the installation, or get some new hardware. This does not come with any hardware.
It attaches the same way. It's white in color. It's a very durable lid. And, it's not translucent. So, it's a solid design, not really going to let light through.
It's constructed of a high density, polypropylene which is very strong and durable. Minimal flex, and that's just a nice thick plastic light construction.It does come with the brackets for attaching, but again, the hardware needed, you'll have to use your existing hardware. That's going to do it for today's look at the replacement lid for the MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents.

I purchased a Maxxair fan which came without a vent cover,I figured I was screwed after searching the internet without finding a exact match. RV roof vent fitted perfectly
Delivery was one day ahead of expected
It took us forever to find this part for our RV (our RV Service Dept was going to replace with a universal fit and not OEM) but thankfully we found it on etrailer.com. Although it took longer than expected to receive our replacement vent lid, etrailer kept us informed the whole time and it did arrive sooner than even they expected. This part was the exact replacement to fit our 2015 Montana 3440RL 5th wheel and the price was good as well. This is not the first time we have ordered from etrailer and we have found them to be reputable and helpful, with excellent products and prices for our camping needs. We always check with them first when we are shopping for our camper.

I was having a difficult finding the correct fan lid for my max fan. Amy had to search until she finally exactly what I needed. She was great
Very nice, appear to be better than original. Relatively easy to change. I could not find an manual, description, or exploded parts diagram to determine how to change covers, but it turned out to be relatively simple. It did require a philips head screw driver and a small punch to drive out the hinge rod. In the future I would use a 5 or 6 penny finish nail or similar small rod, at least 3 inches long. Once the rod can be driven out enough to grasp with pliers it's simple and easy. Installation is equally as easy.
This fan cover is really good quality, replacing a hail damaged one on my 2018 Entegra Anthem. It took about 15 minutes to replace. I'm glad I found it on etrailer.com. They are a great supplier.
