Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're gonna take a quick look at this replacement white lid for the MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe. Now, if you are needing to replace the lid for your MaxxAir MaxxFan Deluxe 4-Speed fan, then this is the lid you are going to need. Specifically, this lid will fit model number MA00-05301K. And as you can see, this is made of an opaque white plastic and this is going to be an easy install and what's even better is your MaxxFan does not have to be removed from the roof to install this replacement lid.
To replace the lid, you would simply locate the screws holding the hinge to the unit itself and remove the screws from that lid that you are replacing, and then remove that lid and replace the screws with this new lid. Now, since this lid is the replacement from MaxxAir, you can trust that it is going to fit your MaxxFan Deluxe 4-Speed fan. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. Just getting around to installing. On the roof. This is incorrect size. It's about 8" too long and about 1" too wide. Can I return this item. I apologize for the inconvenience. I've tried one other place and no one has it.The lid looks great. There is no number on the old one except the name Max air. I just need one smaller

Item arrived quickly and complete with all hardware. This is to include front and rear hinges installed along with the inner track ways, both left and right. Make sure to replace both inner bushings, and check lifting lever as the initial failure was with the bushings wearing causing the lever to jam, break a weld, and crack the cover. A yearly inspection, and cleaning of moving parts should be performed on the MaxxFan to prevent failure.

After one year the product performs perfect. But the key is the install. I used a little silicone grease on the bushings. And I do not try to open the hatch in freezing cold weather.
Really poor design, the fan lid mechanism pulls strongly down on this plastic lid in order to seal it in place. The old one cracked along the mounts after only two years, and was leaking as a result. One year after I installed this replacement lid, I can see the stress marks on it as well where it is being strongly pulled down by the lid mechanism, so I know it's only a matter of time before this one cracks as well and starts to leak. They need to redesign this lid and reinforce the area where the mechanism connects to the lid.

Just got it haven't got it put on.
Maxxfan is poor quality, I've already had to make a homemade patch on replacement lid, I've had to replace the operating mechanism, and lift motor. Now the control is erratic, it's lost its mind. This fan cost $50 to $100 a season in parts to keep it operating since purchase in 2017. New cost was about $ 300.
Product was in stock. Arrived in a timely manner in good condition. Product from original manufacturer. Installed easily. I replaced the smoke colored lid as the smoke colored lid actually let in more light which I didn't want in the bedroom area.

So far the product is still as I had hoped. I will let everyone know this though. When Im not using my travel trailer it is stored inside my shop, out of the elements. I only use my travel trailer about 3 weeks a year. The other 49 weeks it sits indoors.
