Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement Smoke Rain Shield for the Maxx Fan Deluxe roof vent. Now, this part will the rain shield on the Maxx Fan Deluxe roof rent, part number MA00-6401K, which we do sell separately, on our website. This rain shield is designed to protect the interior of your RV, or your camper, from any rainwater. It still allows you to open your vent, and operate the fan in any weather. It eliminates the need to install a separate vent cover. It is constructed of a high-density polypropylene.
It has a smoke color to it, and it does use the existing hardware for installation. If you notice, it has the piano hinge bracket on this end, and the other piano hinge bracket on this end, and then the other bracket's right here, in the middle.This part is for a quantity of one rain shield. And the last thing I want to do is just give you some measurements on this. Overall length on this, at the widest point .. Pick this up, and we'll go in the middle here.
So, for widest point, end-to-end, you're gonna be right at 23 and a quarter inches long. The width on it, it's right at 16 and a half inches wide. And the total height on it, is gonna be right at, about four and a half inches tall. But, that should do it, for the review on the replacement Smoke Rain Shield for the Maxx Fan Deluxe roof vent.

Replaces the rain shield for your MaxxFan deluxe roof vent (MA00-06401K).This is a perfect replacement for MaxxAir Delux roof vents. I can't thank etrailer enough for having it in stock. Even my local dealers said there was no replacement available. The price tag is another matter though. 166+ cost for this is nothing short of extorsion. There can be no excuse for it except greed on the part of the manufacturer. If you have a need for a new roof vent, I suggest you buy any brand other than MaxxAir. At some point you will need a new rain shield, and it will not please you to have to pay a kings ransom for it. In my case I needed two (hail storm), and to say I wish I had never heard of MaxxAir would be an understatement.
Speed of shipping was great and product is exact direct replacement!
After one year it’s still holding strong, was able to get it installed and it’s been good as new ever since.
Nice solid material creating a new tinted window with a view once installed. Beware purchasing the white plastic top as it is not made of the same solid plastic. Also beware that while this looks like an easy replacement, the heads of the five screws holding the old fan cover on the front end are not acessible with a screwdriver. I ended up using a wrench on the point end of the screws to back them out, then fitted the lip on the new cover with snap on speed nuts so that the the screws could be installed backwards. Seems to hold the cover just fine.
Fits like a charm, easy installation,next time I should consider buying a complete Maxxfan Deluxe rather than buying parts
Exact fit! Our MaxxFan lids were showing signs of age and wear from being in the sun for the last 8 years. These were the exact replacement and installed with ease. They are so much clearer than the old ones! Very pleased with the quality!

Exactly what I ordered. Website was easy to order from. Came very promptly if I pulled another knucklehead maneuver and broke my vent cover again I would definitely order from these folks.
etrailer did great with rapid shipment, but the cost of this fan shell, which probably costs a couple bucks at most to manufacturer in east Asia is absolutely batshit crazy. It should be made of titanium or carbon fiber for $XXX!!

MaxxFan replacement Smoke roof vent cover was exactly as described , fit perfectly and was shipped on time. Helped me fix the fact that I ordered the wrong (white) cover fan to begin with and didn't notice till I unpacked it 30 days after purchase. The smoke cover lets in some natural light vs the white which does not.

My maxxfan deluxe (this DOES fit the deluxe models that are manual lift) had an unfortunate run in with a parking garage roof, so I was extremely happy to find a replacement rain shield was available for sale. etrailer was the only site I saw them available from and it arrived the day after I ordered it. These units are great, a direct replacement for my 2018 Entegra Anthem fans. I'm glad I found them. My old ones were damaged with hail. It took about 15 minutes to replace each one. Etrailer.com is a great supplier.

The product is what we expected the only thing we were nervous about was the packaging was damaged on the outside and there was no packing material on the inside luckily the product did not experience any damage except for a few minor scratches
