Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a quick look at this replacement lid for the MaxxFan and MaxxFan Plus roof vents. If you're needing to replace the lid for your MaxxFan or MaxxFan Plus roof vent, then this is gonna be the lid that you need. Specifically, this lid fits model numbers MA00A04401K or MA00-04500K. As you can see, this is a smoke colored lid, so it is going to do a great job at filtering UV rays while still allowing light in.
This is constructed of a high-density polypropylene, so it's very durable. And the overall measurements, and these measurements are going to be square, we're gonna be sitting right at almost 15 inches. I'm gonna say it's about 14 13/16 inches square. And since this lid is the replacement from MaxxAir, you can trust that it is going to fit your MaxxFan or MaxxFan Plus roof vents. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today.

Smoke-colored dome is constructed of high-density polypropylene.Lids fit perfectly on my original 14"x14" MaxxFan vents. Needed to replace all three due to golf ball sized hail damage. They were easy to install using original hardware and were an exact replacement for the Maxxair smoke lid #10A40009K. Installed all 3 in less than an hour. The lids were reasonably priced and shipped promptly. Etrailer was very helpful and easy to deal with. I will order again from Etrailer if needed.
While the removal and installation was simple for me, I think instructions and list of tools needed would be helpful for someone not mechanically inclined. The product itself was great and worked without issue.
The Maxxfan replacement lid fit perfectly and was easy to install! A few screws and the hinge pin went on easily. Only took about 30 minutes start to finish. The easiest thing was ordering from Natalie at etrailer, who researched the item to ensure it was the correct one for my fan.

Very good service from etrailer.com helping me to get this manufacturer’s part for the second time. The ‘universal’ lid covers just don’t work for me. This part is super easy to swap in with no adaptations.

Perfect fit. The only thing that is that the hing was not available. My was lost when the lid was damaged. I used a piece of copper wire and it is working OK.

These still work great. Highly recommend for venting or to help cool. When its cool out just open a window or two and turn on one or two. I have three and would purchase again.
