Jeff: Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this replacement rain shield assembly for the MaxxAir Deluxe RV Roof Vents. This part will replace the rain shield on your MaxxAir deluxe roof vents. It is designed to work with the part number MA 00-05100K, the MA 00-05301K, the MA 00-06200K, the MA 00-06401K, and the MA 00-07000K. All of those roof vents we do sell separate on our website.Basically, this rain shields is what will install between the vent frame assembly and the dome lid assembly. And the MaxxFan Deluxe uses this built-in rain shield, along with the dome on the vent, and it'll surround and enclose the whole vent opening.

The shield helps block the rainwater and other precipitation from entering through the vent, and damaging the interior RV or trailer. So basically, what this does is this means you can run your fan on the vent during any weather, without having to worry about the consequences. The rain shield, right here, when you use the rain shield, there's no need to install a separate vent cover.This part is made in the USA. And you can see, there's where it'll attach to the vent frame.
