Today, we're gonna take a look at the C. E. Smith amber five inch long keel roller for boat trailers. This is a PVC keel roller, which'll replace a worn or damaged keel roller on your boat trailer. This will help ease loading and unloading of your boat. Supports the keel of the boat as it rests on your trailer, and will even absorb road shock while the boat's being towed.
It is a PVC polyvinyl chloride material, which is durable, non-marring, corrosion resistant, and it is stronger and longer-lasting than rubber. Also, the PVC material won't leave scratches, scuffs, or marks on your boat's hull like a rubber roller does. Works great in fresh water and salt water applications. You can see it's a nice amber color.Application, again, this is for a five inch wide bracket, with a 5/8 inch diameter shaft. Dimensions on this.

Non-marring material won't leave scuffs or marks on your boat.Installed them, haven't had a chance to try 'em out yet, rebuilding an old trailer that was probably around when Jesus was a child. These rollers look great and I am sure will function just as great... VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. Ordered them and they came faster than the ship date indicated that is always a plus.
Installed and they are far better than the rubber ones that I had. Great product.
The product quality is excellent. My existing keel roller was a half inch wider (this is 4.5 inches) I added two galvanized 5/8 inch washers to the ends (a good idea anyway) and fits very well as a replacement.

Appears much more durable than the rubber roller it replaced
After one year the roller is holding up great. I don't see any wear on it. No more black roller marks on my boat.

Had to sand off rough area on roller, not necessary, just me.
