Very well made spare tire bracket. Although made for Yakima roof racks, this designed was easily modified to fit the Rola roof top carrier. Locking wing nut is a great feature! Very pleased with this product.

This tire carrier worked out perfect for my overland trailer. It bolted to the cargo rack and carries a large 15" off road tire/wheel. Easy to install. Securely retains the tire.

I needed a heavy duty spare tire holder/mount for an M101A2 trailer project. I used this Yakima Spare Tire Carrier to actually go through the spare tire mount on the trailer. It fit perfectly. The mount is not cheaply made. This is one solid mount that you can also padlock you spare down when done. This is one of those good products that is made probably heavier and stronger than nesc. but it works well and works in a very simple fashion.

I was able to mount this quite easily on my Thule Canyon roof rack by getting larger clamps for the corners. Worked great for thousands of miles. Replaced with a hitchgate to get my roof storage back.

Easy to install. Solid metal construction. Does an excellent job securing the spare tire onto my Yakima cargo basket - no sliding around. Can also padlock the tire into place.

Its seized up. My tire hasnt moved, but its going to take some work to get it down. Hopefully I dont get another flat before I can address the issue.
