Best Roof Basket and Spare Tire Carrier for a 2004 Toyota 4Runner

My 2004 4runner has a factory roof rack with side and horizontal bars which I believe are adjustable I wish to safely mount my spare tire up there, instead of under the vehicle where it gets drowned in gravel road debris all day - or in the hatch where it takes up all the room.

We do have some spare tire roof mount options that you can use with a roof top basket.

The best option for you is to use either the Yakima LoadWarrior # Y07070 or MegaWarrior # Y07080 along with the Spare Tire Carrier # Y07076.

The LoadWarrier fits crossbar spreads between 24"-32", has dimensions of 44" long x 39" wide x 6-1/2" tall, and a has a 140 lb weight capacity. The MegaWarrior fits crossbar spreads between 30"-38", has dimensions of 52" long x 48" wide x 6-1/2" tall, and has a 130 lb weight capacity.

Be sure to stay within the weight capacity of your 2004 Toyota 4Runner as that will most likely be the limiting factor.
