Will Extension Piece for Loadwarrior Basket Fit LoadWarrior Installed on 2011 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I have a Yakima Loadwarrior basket. My car is a RAV4 Sport. As this model does not support a spare tire, I was thinking of adding the loadwarrior extension piece and adding the Yakima spare tire carrier. The extension piece would help hold my gear, as the tire would take up some room. I have a sunroof, and my question is: will the extension piece implicate my sunroof or fit well on my RAV4 - or would it be too long with the extension piece? I took measurements and the extension piece would partially cover my sunroof. I love my sunroof, and wouldnt get the extension piece if it implicates the sunroof. Worse comes to worse, I could stack light gear on top of the tire!

I checked with Yakima and the extension piece # Y07074 is a confirmed fit for your LoadWarrier # Y07070 on your 2011 Toyota Rav4 Sport with factory crossbars. The spare wheel and tire mount you'd then need is the part # Y07076.

Yakima did not state that it would interfere with the sunroof at all so I am not sure if it would cover it. It wouldn't be an issue though for mounting the box.
