Hello, neighbor. Welcome back. This is Steven again with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the spare tire carrier for the Rhino-Rack Alloy Tray roof cargo carrier. Now, this tire carrier is gonna provide a great mounting point for your spare tire on your Rhino-Rack Allied Trays that are up on your roof. It's gonna tighten down in seconds.

Very, very smooth action on this top part here. And it's got a nice long handle that's going to help you, you know, hold it in place. And, you know, if you wanna carry it once you get it off and everything, that'll help you with that possibly. It's gonna mount in between the planks of that roof tray. It does use these built-in tabs to do so.

Right now, I've got them tightened down. It is a nice black coat, black powder coated steel base. It does come with the tool needed to tighten those two bolts down. And it comes with a lock nut here with the the nylon washer inside that does go between this part and right here at the base. But I didn't want to use that nut as it's a one-time use.

So I'll let the customer use that when they install it. Like I said, it's a very nice spinning action as you can see. It goes up and down with ease. Your cone here will help you, you know, put the tire in. You can maybe flip the tire over in some applications, if it's easier for you, or have it upright.

Whatever fits your rim and your tire specifically better. That cone will go down over that. And then again, you simply just spin it down, and then you'll, obviously, tighten it up as tight as you can physically by your hand to get that in place and hold it tight. It is a very nice product. I do like how it's built, the rigidity and everything on it. Like I said, it's got a nice powder coat finish. The plastic cone here is a very durable high-density plastic. The plastic up here is very nice and durable as well. It comes with a set of instructions as you see here. Very simple install, very simple to use. It does come with a three-year warranty as well. And again, depending on the offset of your rim and tire, you may need to flip it upside down to mount it to get it mounted correctly.
