Will a 315/70-17 Spare Tire Fit in a Yakima MegaWarrior Roof Basket on a Hummer H2

i am cosidering a yakima megawarrior for a hummer h2 would like to mount spare tire on rack.. tire size is 315 70 17. worried about stability and wind noise, any suggestions

Yakima's spare tire carrier will accommodate tires up to 35 inches in diameter. According to my calculations, your tire comes in just under that at 34.36 inches.
The tire rack is pretty stout, I do not think stability will be a problem. As far as wind noise goes, the fairing included with the MegaWarrior Roof Basket will certainly lessen the wind noise. Mounting the tire as close to the rear of the basket as possible will help minimize wind noise as well.
Just make sure you do not exceed the weight capacity of the roof of your Hummer H2.
