Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Lippert Ignition Proof Fifth Wheel RV Landing Gear Switch with the wiring harness. Now the Lippert component's power landing gear is what is standard on most fifth-wheel RVs produced today. And this here is the replacement standard landing gear switch with the wiring harness. That'll get you back to camping, enjoying the great features of your powered landing gear. This switch will let you extend or retract your landing gear on your RV.
It is very easy to install with minimal assembly required. It includes the switch right here you can see, and if you look at it, it's labeled retract, and you do have to hold it down or extend in the same way you have to hold it down. That includes the gear switch, the wiring harness, has the 30-amp fuse on it, and then the face plate when you go to install it. This part is made in the USA. I did have an issue with the first switch where it quit working but I contacted support and it was replaced within days. Excellent customer service!!!

Replaced my landing gear switch a year ago and the new one works great. It was easy to install and delivery was super fast. Great quality and a good price, what more can you ask for.
I purchased these after my original set broke, it’s more that what I needed but it does very well. Speed is faster, I’ve had to replace the switch but other that that it works great, I don’t like the original switch now that came with it, it sticks out about too far, so when it broke I replaced it with the factory style switch.

Exact replacement part. Delivery was quick. Will be installing next week. I also purchased a gear kit fir my front load leg. That was also the exact replacement. Thank-you e-trailer.

The only issue I had was wiring the motor leads. I had to put the red lead to the black lead of the motor in order to make the motor run to match the button directions (ie extend for down, retract for up.
