Ball mount, pin and clip sold separately.The product is great! HOWEVER, the way the warehouse packaged and shipped the trailer hitch receiver the box arrived torn up and all the hardware was missing. I immediately called customer svc. and was very specific about the parts missing. They assured me it would be shipped right away. Several days later half the hardware arrived. I called customer service again, and asked them to please overnight the missing part because we we were leaving on a trip in two days. Again, customer svc. dropped the ball and did not follow up with me with a phone call on anything that was promised to be take care of. Very disappointed! We missed 3 days of our trip waiting for the final part. That is why I'm giving you a "Average" score.
I got wrong part, the frame width is 34 inches and the hitch you send is like 37.
The hitch bolt slots were undersized (8ea). Due to the weight of the hitch I opened up the slots while the hitch was in rough mounting position. The drop hitch is a very sloppy fit (loose compared to all previous hitch / drop fits). I am concerned there will be a greatly reduced surface area to distribute the drop hitch weight to the hitch. Guess we'll see. If I had known these things I would not have purchased this brand of hitch. I think etrailer was great, did exactly what they said they would do. Just not pleased with the product.
Good product
Huge improvement over the factory design on my 02 F350 SRW 7.3 4x4. My last one was bent by previous owner (see pics), I didn’t notice until I smoked all 4 tires on my equipment trailer in a matter of 4 days. Factory was rated for 12.5k, I think 18k rated should NEVER give me any issues.
The product itself looks extremely robust and the instructions were pretty decent. Docked a star due to 2 missing M14 nuts, which are not easy to find, poor shipping packaging (literally wrapped in plastic wrap), and crooked stickers (were they drunk?).
I think it's a great hitch. 5 stars.
the box was beat up, the hitch was scatched BADLY in a few spots and two bolts fell out in transportation.
It's been great so far. I'm towing about 18,500 lbs with my F350. It was easy to install, I did it by my self.
Perfect fit and easy installation. Excellent manufacturer and etrailer is an excellent seller. They supply all my truck, trailer and camper needs.
I have been pleased with my purchase. The only thing I wish was that the powder coating was more durable. A portion was either no applied correctly or was damaged during shipping and now has a little rust showing through. I know this is not going to affect the mechanical strength of the hitch and is only cosmetic. I may try to get it re-powdered but then I wont have any of the manufacturer stickers to reapply. I will be sure to follow the link in your email.

Great Product , easy install
Excellent high quality product. One year and 120,000 miles of use pulling a 16’ enclosed trailer with an F350 dually and no issues. The reinforced hitch pin holes are a dream and show no signs of wollering out like my previous hitch.
Hitch arrived yesterday, installed it last night,1 1/2 hours. Definitely a up grade from the factory hitch

Hitch was installed on a customer’s oilfield truck, still going strong
Replaced class III with this class V. Installed myself, all went as it should. Shopping online with etrailer was good. easy to find what I was looking for & choose which one best suited me. Have a truck camper and use a 4' extension bar to tow a trailer. Also bought a DeeZee bed mat
great hitch.the vertical plates that this hitch has was a selling point.more connecting points to the truck insure that it is there to stay.easy ordering and friendly person on the other end was great.best pricing by far.will come back if i ever need to..thanks etrailer.

Heavy hitch, will haul the load. Carry 7k lb BBQ trailer with serious tongue weight.
Item arrived as described and shipping was super fast. The packaging looked like it had recently spent time in Syria, but hey its a trailer hitch so not really a huge concern for damage. I'm sure they do better on anything more delicate. FYI... This thing is freaking stout ! I was planning to install it myself but unfortunately my truck wont fit in the garage and i dont like to show off in front of the neighbors so I'll probably get a second ( and maybe a third ) set of hands on it with me because I don't want to be "that guy"
Excellent fit easy to install took less time than the manufacturers estimated time. Included instructions very easy to follow AND NO MISSING HARDWARE!! This the third hitch we've installed this year on our fleet but our first from etrailer.com. This was the first one that wasn't missing any harware and the price was lower than the previous supplier.
Awesome hitch. Very sturdy. Will tow more than my truck can. Very much like how the frame mounts to the side opposed to the factory just on the bottom

I wanted to see if you could explain in more detail about what you mean that the hitch bolt slots were undersized. And about your concerns on the surface area with regard to the hitch weight. Would you be able to send pictures?
