Whether you're towing a trailer or taking a long trip with your family in your RV, the last thing you want to worry about is a tire blowout. If your tires aren't inflated properly, or if they have a slow leak you're not aware of, you run the risk of having your trip derailed.

A tire pressure monitoring system gives you peace of mind when you're towing or traveling. The PressurePro FX 2 monitors the pressure and temperature levels of the tires on your RV, 5th wheel, boat trailer, or towed car. The system uses sensors that easily thread onto your tires' valve stems. When a tire sensor detects an anomaly, it will immediately alert you of the issue.

Monitor Your Tires with Your Smartphone

Most TPMS systems require you to install a separate monitor, which clutters up the inside of your cab with another piece of equipment. The PressurePro FX 2 lets you conveniently track your tires with the device you already have with you: your smartphone. The free PressurePro app - available on both iOS and Android devices - is easy to customize, giving you complete control over this TPMS system.

Installation and Setup

Installation is easy and straightforward. Unlike many TPMS systems that need to be connected directly to your vehicle's battery for power, the Pulse FX box, which mounts inside the cab of your vehicle with the included hook-and-loop mounting pads, simply plugs into your vehicle's 12V power outlet. The included dipole antenna mounts to your windshield (or anywhere else in your cab) with hook-and-loop pads to help boost the wireless signal.

PressurePro App Pair Device PressurePro App Success Screen

Setting up the PressurePro app is simple. Once you've downloaded the app to your smartphone, you'll be able to pair it with the Pulse FX device.

PressurePro App Select Vehicle Type PressurePro App Select Axles

From there, select your vehicle type and how many wheels you want to monitor. If you need to monitor more than 2 wheels, you can purchase extra sensors separately.

PressurePro App Program Mode PressurePro App Tire Readings

To connect each tire to the PressurePro app, simply tap the tire on the diagram that you want to set up, and then install a sensor on the corresponding tire's valve stem, replacing your existing valve stem cap. Once each sensor is installed, press "Save" to connect the sensors to the app and start getting pressure and temperature readings for each tire.

The app also lets you program different towing setups. Give each of your rigs a unique name with unique settings, making it easy to switch back and forth between different vehicles or trailers. This makes the PressurePro FX ideal for people who own multiple trailers. You can monitor your boat trailer when you head to the lake for the weekend and then monitor your landscaping trailer when you go back to work the following week.

Customize Your Notifications

With the PressurePro app, there are 5 different real-time alerts designed to warn you about potential problems with your tires. You can set the alerts to be received as push notifications, so you don't have to leave the app open during your entire trip. You can also customize the parameters for each alert to your liking:

  • Extreme and Slight Under Pressure: 10 percent to 40 percent
  • Extreme Over Pressure: 10 percent to 40 percent
  • Cross Axle: 5 percent to 30 percent
  • High Temperature: 150 F to 212 F
  • Lost Signal: 10 minutes to 60 minutes

For each alert, you can program the sensitivity of the sensors to determine when you'd like to receive notifications. For instance, you can program the app to alert you if your vehicle's tire pressure drops 10 percent or more below the baseline pressure that you set. If 10 percent is too low, you can move it up to 15 percent or 20 percent.

Or you can set up a Cross Axle alert. This notifies you if there's a significant discrepancy between the tire pressure readings on each axle, which can cause uneven wear on your tires.

You can also receive a notification if one of your tires reaches a temperature of 180 F. Or bump it up to 200 F if you're driving through the desert.

In addition to receiving detailed notifications on your phone, the Pulse FX box will blink red whenever there's a potential issue, alerting you to check your device.

It worked way until recently. Now I cannot get the APP to work and when I try to re-register the account the Pressure Pro indicates my e-mail is invalid. I'm hoping to get it working again before July 8, 2021.

Thank you for your review. I apologize that you are having trouble with your app. There is not a way for us to help with email or password issues. I would try making a new account with a different email address.

  • Recommended Budget Friendly TPMS System for Single Axle Trailer
I may have a solution for you, but you won't be able to pair sensors to a # TST-507-D-C without the transmitter that comes with a complete system like the TPMS for RVs - Color Display - Signal Booster - 4 Tire Sensors # TST-507-RV-4-C. However, you can use the PressurePro FX 2 TPMS for RVs and Trailers - Smartphone Display - 2 Waterproof Sensors # 372FX2K and it will connect directly to your smartphone to give you the ability to monitor 2 tires. This would be my recommended solution that...

  • Determining If 205/75R14 Tires On 2015 R-Pod 178 Should Be Upgraded To Prevent Blow Outs
I would be happy to go over the tire options available for your 2015 Forest River R-Pod 178. First off I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the replacement tires you had installed last year. I recommend sticking with the ST205/75R14 tire size as they are what your trailer was designed around, and worked good for you for the first 6 years. Now I recommend making sure that you choose a quality set of tires so you can focus on camping and not worrying about your tires. We have...

  • TPMS For Travel Trailer Able To Read Over 80 PSI
The PressurePro FX 2 TPMS for RVs and Trailers # 372FX2K is the only two tire TPMS monitoring system we carry. We do also have the TireMinder i10 TPMS for RVs and Trailers w/ Signal Booster # TM89FR which is a 4 tire sensor system and can read tire pressures up to 199 PSI.

  • Can PressurePro FX 2 TPMS Sensors 372FX2K Be Used With Rubber Valve Stems?
I reached out to PressurePro and the PressurePro FX 2 TPMS for RVs and Trailers - Smartphone Display - 2 Waterproof Sensors # 372FX2K you were looking at can be used on metal or rubber valve stems but they do encourage using a metal valve stem to avoid any possible issues. With that said the TPMS sensors weigh 1/2 gram and they have not run into any instances where a valve stem that was in good shape experienced any damage. I included a few videos of the # 372FX2K for you to take a look at.

  • Best TPMS for 2013 Airstream Flying Cloud 20
The TireMinder TPMS for Single Axle Trailers part # TPMS-TRL-2 is an excellent option for a 2013 Airstream Flying Cloud 20. That said, the sensors will only read pressure up to 70 psi. If you need to go higher than that, the PressurePro FX 2 TPMS for RVs and Trailers part # 372FX2K is a great option which uses a smartphone as a display.

  • Availability Of TPMS Sensor System For Small Trailer With Two Wheels
We have just what you are looking for. I recommend the PressurePro FX 2 TPMS for RVs and Trailers - Smartphone Display - 2 Waterproof Sensors # 372FX2K which is designed for smaller single axle trailers like yours, and only includes two TPMS sensors. This system uses your phone as the monitor, so you will need to have an iPhone or Android smartphone. There is no repeater so all you will need to do is plug the Pulse FX into a 12v power outlet, and mount the antenna on your wind shield. I...

  • What is Max Pressure the TireMinder TPMS for Single Axle Trailers Can Read TPMS-TRL-2
The psi range of the # TPMS-TRL-2 is 0-70 psi so if you inflated your Goodyear tires to 65 when cold they would get right up to the max of this system once heated up. The PressurePro FX 2 part # 372FX2K is a similar 2 sensor setup that has a range up to 215 psi and can display on your smart phone if you wanted to consider something else with a higher rating.

  • Recommended TPMS with Temperature Readings for a Single Axle Boat Trailer
I have two great TPMS options for a single axle boat trailer, the PressurePro FX 2 TPMS for RVs and Trailers part # 372FX2K or the TireMinder TPMS for Single Axle Trailers part # TPMS-TRL-2. The best system really comes down to preference as the main difference is the PressurePro uses your phone as the display and the TireMinder uses its own monitor. That said, the TireMinder requires a special wrench to remove the sensors so someone can't just steal them which I like. They will both work...

  • Solution For Needing Higher Speed Rated Trailer Tire Size 5.30-12
We have trailer tires in the size of 5.30-12 that have a higher speed rating like the part # TT53012C but we do not have them mounted on a wheel. This tire is rated for 81 mph. So you could go with the tire and have them mounted on your current wheels or go with new wheels too and have them mounted locally like with # AM20153.

  • Are The PressurePro FX TPMS Sensor Batteries Replaceable?
The PressurePro FX 2 TPMS for RVs and Trailers # 372FX2K utilizes sealed sensors that the batteries are not replaceable. Since the sensors are sealed they utilize a more powerful battery that they say will last 3-4 years for everyday usage and 5-6 years for recreationally use. This is far superior to other TPMS kits sensors that are on the market and as they are sealed you will not have water getting into the sensor and damaging any of the internal components.
