Video Transcript for Review of DeeMaxx Trailer Brakes - Slip On Rotor - DE47VR

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we take a look at the DeeMaxx 10" Diameter Slip-On, Maxx Coated Rotor, 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, for 3,500 pound axles. Now this slip-on rotor'll let you upgrade your trailer from an idler axle to a disc brake axle for superior performance. This will provide excellent rust protection. It's great for boat trailers and trailers using coastal areas or heavily treated roads.

Has a Maxx Coat finish on it, which offers superior rust and corrosion resistance. That meets a salt spray rating of over a thousand hours. If you notice what's unique on the DeeMaxx, they'll have these drainage holes here in the hat section of the rotor, and that allows water to drain easily, preventing any corrosion buildup. This is designed to fit over a standard idler hub. It is held in place by resisting wheel lug nuts.

And what's nice about the slip-on rotor, they can be removed for easy maintenance meaning there's no need to replace your entire hub and rotor assembly if only the hub or the rotor becomes damaged. As you can see, it is a vented design which will dissipate heat faster, prevent premature brake pad wear, and it is high quality automotive grade construction which is long lasting. Again, a few specs on this. It fits 3,500 pound axles. The bolt pattern is a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.

The rotor diameter, if we measure this, is 10-7/8 inches. And the wheel bolt hole diameter where your wheel studs will come through is a half inch diameter. But that should do it for the review on this DeeMaxx 10" Diameter Slip-On, Maxx Coated Rotor, 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, for 3,500 pound axles.
