Which Trailer Hitches, Ball Mount, Trailer Wiring, and Hitch Balls Fit a 2007 Mazda CX-7
Question:
This show a 2010 model year installation - will part 75512 fit my 2007 Mazda CX-7?

Expert Reply:
Yes. The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 75512, will fit on your 2007 Mazda CX-7. For many vehicles, the manufacturer will not change the chassis and/or frame platform so the same hitch can fit multiple years of the same model vehicle. I have included two links below. One is the instructions for the 75512 hitch. The other link is for all the hitches that will fit your 2007 CX-7.
I also recommend adding trailer wiring to provide a 4-Way trailer connection at the rear of the vehicle. If you do not have a factory tow package, use Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118405. I have included a link to the installation details below. If you do have a factory tow package, you will need the Tow Package Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector, # C55593. Installation details are linked below.
The recommended ball mount is # 36061 and you can use hitch balls # 19257 (1-7/8 inch diameter) or # 19258 (2 inch diameter).
