Entailer has the website to find and deliver the parts I have needed to repair my trailering needs. Easy to find my same parts that needed replacing.

by:

Had everything I needed to wire my Jeep Grand Cherokee. YouTube videos exist to help. There some surprisingly difficult places to route the wires along the frame.

by:

This is a well engineered and solidly built trailer socket. Made from sturdy cast metal and not from breakable plastic. I like the removable terminal block with barriers between the pins to prevent inadvertent shorts. Most importantly, the split terminals are made from brass so they will not corrode plus provide very good conductivity compared to steel. I’ve read the terminal block is replaceable, but haven’t seen a link as to where to buy one if that is ever needed.

@David Thanks, we really appreciate your business!

Replaced original cracked plastic plug (4 years old) that came with blue ox tow system. Love the strudy metal. Unfortunately, the diameter of the oepning for the plug is just a bit too large. Plug fully seats so that tab on underside of spring-loaded lid engages, but the weight of the coil cord back to motorhome tilts the plug down a few degrees (due to too-large opening). This position disengages the retaining tab on the outlet's lid, and vibrations can easily pop the plug out. I'm currently running with 3 zipties to hold the plug in firmly while I figure out a replacement. Not going to keep cutting zipties off at every stop. I'm surprised that no one else seems to have run into this problem.

by:

these are just what need, I just got them in the mail about 30 min ago, could not find both parts at local farm store. these look like what I used when I was younger, they worked great then so should be good now. I thought I had a problem, but it was just me. Steve

by:

I gave the poor rating for the same reason that I had to buy this socket to replace our original one. The pin that holds the lid and spring slides out and you lose the lid. The replacement when received already had the pin slid out past one side. This time I slid it back and put a dab of jb weld on each side to keep it in place.

by:

Used this at the front of my toad. Mounted it under the license plate (used a spring loaded bracket). Works great never a problem.

Has worked great. Does what I need it to do with no problems.

Looks like great quality and the company is great to work with!

Excellent product. Well made and easy to install.

Yes ma'am, every thing is good. I just told a friend of mine about y'all, he has a few trailers to repair. He'll probably be ordering from you soon. Thanks for checking on me :-)

Yes both products still perfectly. It has been a pleasure doing business with you.

by:

Fits perfect! New Toad, New baseplate, new factory plug-in lighting electrical harness but it came with a four pin plug incompatible with old jumper coil harness. Easy installation. I added 2 large washers under sheet metal screws used by BlueOx to attach and reinforce the mounting holes as some reviews had cracking around baseplate holes. Same type used on Prior Toad never had any issues but why not spread the load with larger washers.

by:

Good quality trailer plug. I used this for the lighting connection on the tailgate of a stacker trailer (race car trailer) and it saw a lot of use over the past year. None of the pins have broken or bent, no connection issues at all. Very satisfied.

by:

Perfect replacement for existing connector. Easy to install, and solid when mounted.

Excellent replacement. Easy to install, working great. Love the pollak product.

by:

This product works perfect for our vehicles we pull our small trailer with. It allows us to also use it on our motorcycles and maintain a clean look instead of having a wire and plug hanging down. etrailer is punctual and efficient with customer care, answers to questions and delivery. Keep up the good work ET

by:

I purchased this part to replace an similar one from Roadmaster which has a plastic housing. The Roadmaster front car plug was part of a wiring kit. All wire connectors rusted heavily in less than a year making the plug unsafe to use aND can no longer be serviced. I live in North Florida, maybe the Roadmaster products should only be used in Arizona.
This new part will most likely rust similarly, so I will apply a heavy coating of liquid electrical tape. And hope for the best.

by:

It appears to be a very durable unit. My previous plastic unit broke.

There could be better pictorial installation details that correlate with the written instructions.

by:

This worked just fine . Couple of weeks ago took trailer from central Ohio. To Pigeon Forge . Tn . Every thing worked fine . I put this on to go out west . I pulled my camper out to Washington state , Down to Disneyland , back route 66 .

by:

Good quality connector. Wish blue ox would use this instead of plastic

Still working!

by:

I needed a conector that would be built to hold up to weekly use and this item did not disappoint. I installed it on my farm tractor and my fuel transfer tank to make refueling my tractor quick and easy. Found this to be a quality built connector at a good price and supper fast shipping.

by:

eTrailer is the greatest! Great selection, best prices, fabulous communication from order to delivery AND fast trackable shipping.
All the reasons I keep buying from them.
Oh yea, the plug is just what I wanted

by:

Could use a rubber seal under the front flap to clamp against to seal out the elements when not in use would be a bonus. A rubber reducer for different sizes of wire in back would help seal out the elements and prolong the life of the plug.

  • How to Gain Access to Pins on Pollak 6-Pole Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket PK11609
The Pollak 6-Pole Round Pin Trailer Wiring Socket # PK11609 does have a small Philips type screw to hold the rear collar in place. You will need to remove this screw completely and pull/twist the collar to remove it for access to the pins for attaching your wiring.
